Thorough, as usual. One thing I'd like to hear more about is the particular challenge of gaining muscle and staying lean while aging - especially through menopause & andropause. I'm 58, my hubby 61. Gains are much harder, but training harder can easily result in injuries.

Nutrient density matters more than calories do. Things like pastas and grains greatly contain lectins which actually cause lowered mineral uptake and gut problems. Protein and fat are what we are made of not grains and rice and sugars. Eating a ton of beef eggs and butter is difficult to do but packs on muscle without fat gain. No marbled fatty muscle only dense lean mass. Carbs are non essential for human physiology and once adapted to high fat diet all muscle growth is possible only with ingesting higher amounts of meats and eggs via luceine content and creatine naturally. Also recovery once fat adaptations take place means little to no soreness or Dom's anymore so you can train more frequently and not get tired. It's pretty amazing living and training with zero inflammation or pains. Thank you for the videos. I like them a lot.
