How to Eat in Paphos

On July 13th, I came back to Cyprus after a three-week trip in Crete. I am currently finishing my Cyprus and Crete episodes and am looking to finish a few big academic projects I have set aside for a while. I have to get ready for the fall semester soon, so I am also using this time to finalize the course syllabi. I will be uploading all of my videos in the next few weeks. I am also planning on documenting my life in Cyprus as a local.
In this episode, I show some of the restaurants I visited in Paphos. Since I only eat once a day, it is very important for me to have a delicious meal everyday. I mostly rely on Google Map to make a quick decision. For fine-dining and reservations, I consult Tripadvisor.

I am a professor studying international relations. The COVID-19 pandemic robbed me of one of the two things I love: international travel.
While traveling, I get to do the other thing I love: academic research. I will use KZfaq to document trips and share my experiences with friends, colleagues, students, and everyone else around the world.
In each country I visit, I would like to talk about its history, politics, economy, and other important social dimensions. It is my goal to learn more about the countries I visit and present my experiences with a bit of my expertise in political economy.

What time of year did you go please it looks so quiet and lovely.

It was mid-May last year. It was lovely and not crowded. It gets really hot in Cyprus in July and August, so I recommend May and June! Thanks for watching!

i am going to paphos in december, did you like it? where did you stayd

Hi Romano! Paphos was probably my favorite city in Cyprus. I liked the atmosphere, its rocky seashores, and lots of archaeological sites. I stayed in the center to have easy access to different restaurants and to avoid the touristy port area. If you are going in December, it might be better to stay in the center anyway since I don't expect too many activities going on at the port area. Have fun! I am also going back to Cyprus in December :)
