I have a question why don’t any of the functional medicine docs ever have a podcast on helping people with severe mental illness like schizophrenia? I really love how Dr. Mark Hyman is changing the system that keeps us sick. He’s a wonderful man. But why don’t any of these people address the mental issues that cause extreme heartache for families and lead to many people becoming homeless?

Thank you for the informative video! :)) He says Vitamin D3 in the Subtitles, not E3, it sounds the same with both letters, but I've seen other videos of him talking and he suggests Vitamin D3 quite often :)

You are wise, in humans eyes. You can be wise by human standard, too. You might have knowledge from all sources available at best Universities and libraries etc. You might have spent years researching and investigating truths for your agendas in job. Good. Time well spent. What would you say to those who have nothing and are literally struggling to survive? Do you know that people starve in some countries? My country had a smallish harvest this year, and it means the food is due to be imported, prices raised.. But even this is not relevant. God has created the world. God has created you. Regardless whether you are a Christian, or a simple benign philosopher here. God is the source. People survived years in wars starving, living on the prayer. And voila, we are still here, their descendants. Knowledge is good. God is perfect. Thank you for this informative video. God bless you.

Not getting the vitamins? You should be telling us how to get those vitamins through food. I just Google it. Magnesium, cashews! B vitamins, mackerel, sardines. And what's wrong with heavy cream, blended with cinnamon, magnesium a smidge of pure cane sugar and a smidge of vanilla or any kind of mixture of your flavor? But ty.

Flour from wheat is the big culprit in raising blood glucose. Almond and coconut flours do not have the same effects.

Eat grass fed meat it that because the proteins actually in the grass and not the meat?
@carlipretorius9071

Grass fed meat has much higher Omega 3 fatty acids than grain fed meat high in Omega 6 which shifts the body to inflammatory conditions. The protein content itself should be the same.

Tell people in Africa to stop eating flour! What a load of rubbish. We've eaten flour for centuries. Balanced diet is a key to health and little bit of something bad will be good for you in the end. So don't go crazy people!! That will cause you stress and you'll develop physical problems in your body. Don't believe in everything he says.

Not crap.... Many people in western cultures are experiencing sensitivity to flour. That's because our flour is being genetically modified. I am now sensitive to flour but I wasn't as a child. Go figure, dis I change or did the flour change.
