I really don't understand the hate on spam. 😅😅 It's an expensive canned meat here and we love it when we have some.

In the west, Spam is often thought of as a low-class, unhealthy 'poor person' food. Which is hilarious because 1. Spam has less than 10 ingredients and is made of a single cut of pork 2. Spam is pretty expensive for what you get now and 3. People who knock Spam don't have the same ire for Cheetos, fast food, instant ramen or hot dogs, which are even more processed, junkier foods. Spam isn't a health food, ofc, but it's totally fine in moderation and sodium content aside, can easily fit into a healthy diet.

Do you live in Southeast Asia? Because same here, SPAM/meat luncheon is EXPENSIVE. It costs like 2 USD for one can, meanwhile for that same cost I can get one kilogram of chicken...

Spam is everywhere in Hawaii. It’s served everywhere especially for breakfast. They eat more Spam than any place in the United States 😊

Growing up, my family could not afford a can of Spam. It's very expensive here. Now that my family and I are in a better place financially, we treat having Spam as a luxury. We enjoy it with egg, chorizo, and dried fish during breakfast.

What do you mean homeless food ... spam has been around a long time , I think since World War II or even before that . We had it regularly in my home when I was growing up in the sixties and seventies but I hated it because I don't like ham at all .
