Thanks, that fixed the problem! It tried to start, moved drum 2 inches each direction and shut off. Much appreciated!!

My washer fills and drains. When it gets to the spin, it just moves left and right slightly. It does spin out at the end. It seems during the wash cycle it won’t agitate because clothes are coming out dirty still but it is spinning out and they aren’t coming out soaked. The wash time takes closer to an hour and a half now instead of an hour. I checked the drain pump and everything seems fine there. I’ve checked for clogs in hoses and they are clear too. I removed the wash plate to double check everything thing there and it seems fine too. I am stumped on what is wrong. Do you have any insight?

Check the wires going to the motor,check the speed in the spin cycle, could be the wires or control board if the motor is okay

Our washer stopped in the drain mode. The lights come on but the washer won’t lock and start. Makes a humming sound. Tried the reset but lights just flash and washer won’t start… any ideas?

Most likely is the drain pump clogged,clean the filter or check the force of the drain pump,remove the top panel open the door and test again

Mine will not spin during the tests. I'm guessing the motor? It will spin freely by hand.

Washer was working fine, saw leak uder washer, turned out the inner drain line had a hole in it, replaced it but now washer doesn't cycle. Powers up but won't go into a cycle. Followed your steps, it fills, drains, lid locks, but basket will not spin nor start wash a wash cycle, any clues?

Check all the connectors some times they get loose and that happens,check water valve and make sure the water valves are open

Thx. All water valves are fine. During diagnostic test, the washer will fill with water, drain water but will not go into a wash or spin cycle. Door lock works as well during diagnostic test, but doest lock at wash cycle or spin cycle. The washer was working just fine till I changed the internal drain hose that was leaking water, I'm stumped,could it be the appliance control unit
