I don’t think so.When I got my first cvt fluid exchange,they didn’t reset it.Maybe if you’re going to do a fluid flush which draining all the fluid.But if it’s just an exchange,it’s a little different

@@Wanderrap I have a 13’ Nismo AWD and I just did the drain and fill. The old fluid looked pretty grimy so I’m gonna two more at 15000 miles and the last one will include the filter kit with the side filter. Are all the filters the same for FWD vs AWD?

PNV Rivera recommended miles is after 30k.Nissan dealership overfilled my transmission so i need to do it.Cvt is unforgiving which kinda sucks

wander rap she bought it used so I do not know what previous owners did. I have been fixing many things with her car since, Juke is an easy and fun car to work on. Great job on the video. Very informative and I’m sure it helped many others.

Hello!That’s what happened to my juke before.Also told me that I need to replace a new transmission.Try doing transmission fluid flush first.It should be done every 100k miles but if you notice that your juke is loosing power,you might wanna try it first.Works for me and been driving the juke for 3 years now without even replacing the transmission

Yo supposed tu Change de Every Twenty Five Thousand Miles And The Filter es On The Side ay Have Five Nisan Altima and one juke. But only same Nissans got a CVT Transmisión

THE DEAD i live here in Colorado where the elevation is up to 9000+ ft.Always using sports mode when driving on a highway.It doesn’t really makes a difference in gas consumption.Check your cvt fluid as well.Before,i’m losing power because my cvt is overfilled by the nissan dealership.it’s been a year since I changed it myself so now,it’s driving good.

Mark Rojas hello!The dipstick for the transmission fluid should be located in the front.Hard to see but it should be there

I heard that later models, they took out the dipstick. Not confirmed but they say the fill cap is still there but theres so measure stick attached to it

Yes it’s fine.Usually,5 quarts of cvt is all you need.And it’s measured between notches

@@Wanderrap awesome thanks bro.. just an fyi bought ns2 oem equivalent for half the price of regular nissan fluid.. the brand is idemitsu ctfv type n.. same color as the ns2.

@@Wanderrap should change both filters every time you open the Nissan Juke transmission. If not, the deposits on the old filter can reek havoc on the CVT belt drive system, even with the new fluid. Spend the extra couple of bucks, don't cheap out!!

I wondered about the transmission filter too. It's part of the fluid change process.

use the engine oil dipstick to check and make a mark or measure with measuring tape. they do not add transmission dipstick because nissan does not want you to mess with the fluid at all, and thats why the cap is so hard to open as well.

@@1mostwanted253 how do i know if i put in the dipstick correctly since the dipstick is a lot longer tho?

@@bri961 the only thing that matters is you put it the same way after you change the fluid. So whatever way you put it the first time, check it, mark it, and then after you remove the fluid and put new one in, make sure its the same level as before. But to get the most accurate reading, you gotta check while car is running and fluid is hot

This is a 2012 nissan juke.You don’t need to change the filter for this.This is how they do the cvt exchange at the service station.

1 quart = .95 liter.We use liter back in my home country.American measurement sure is weird
