Also, at the end of the video you wrote “you need to apply for a temporary resident visa separately after study permit approved” . Does that mean for as a student I still have to apply for a temporary visa asides from the study permit?

Your video for passport renewal was so helpful for me thanks alot. Now I have to extend my study permit application because the study permit was issued till the validity of my old passport now that I have my new passport while fillling passport details in the form am I supposed to enter the details of my new passport as that's the one with the longer validity or my old passport the one with the validity study Visa stamp? Meanwhile, I used an agent for my first application and now I have gotten admission for a second program and I don't have money for agent again. The immigration consultant did not give me login details, How do I open a new account and do the application myself please

Hi girl. Thank you so much for this video. I applied and got approved. Plsss I have two questions. 1. I didn’t apply with a new medical exam but I was approved but told I won’t be able to do any job relating to care unless I reapply and carry out a medical exam. I plan on travelling home during the summer. Will I be able to travel out of Canada and back in without a valid medical exam even when I have a valid visa? 2. If u apply for a visa after study extension and apply without a valid medical will I get a MULTIPLE entry visa? Pls let me know what you think. Thanks

hello, my question is, I changed my DLI to a new one. my new school starts in January,2024 and ends in August,2024 but my old study permit expires in July,2024. In this case, should I apply for an extension for just the one month or 3-4 months? Also, I have paid my full year's fees for my new school. do I still need to show proof of funds of that 10,000 CAD? I can’t answer the first question, I’m not sure about that. I am not 💯 sure of the second question but I know 10,000 cad is recommended for study permit extension. And it is also required that you attach proof of payment of fees for the next term

The minimum amount required is for living expenses, but the more the better. Also you should have paid your fees for the next term before applying for study permit extension.

Please i applied for a study permit extension in October before my study permit expired(Nov), am yet to receive a response. I now want to apply for a study permit for my second program in the same school. My question- The section that says "date your studying permit is expirying", what do i put in there?

I might be understanding your question wrongly. I’d say wait a little to get a response on the extension before applying, email IRCC to ask for a response. Also see if you state that it’s being processed.

Hi, I wanted to ask you something. My Canadian student visa and study permit expires on the 31st of March 2024. Do I apply for study permit extension or visa extension? Or both at the same time? Also, I do not work, my husband works and earns. So if I write that my living expenses are covered by my husband, where should I mention that?

You need to apply for study permit extension first before visa extension. I am not sure about the second question but I think you can show your husband’s bank statement and that should fine for proof for funds. If you want, you can add a letter of explanation to explain the situation

You mentioned a letter of enrolment. I do not have it yet for my new program. However I have my LOA which is what I want to use. Isn’t that sufficient?

I believe the LoA is sufficient, but it is safe to ask your school if they give letter of enrolment. If they don’t, the LOA will suffice

Hi Patience When using some else’s bank statements must it necessarily be the initial one you used for the initial process in your home country. Must you necessarily proof the 10,000 CAD

Just finished watching your video. Please i have few questions to ask. 1.) if one's passport is about expire and the person gets a new passport, will the person upload the data page of both the new and old passport? (2.) if the person is expected to graduate sept. 2024, can the person write April 2025 when filling the form? (3.)if you have a sponsors, is it compulsory that the person must have 10k cad in his account?

1. Upload just the new passport 2. Yes, you can extend the date more to avoid applying again if there is a delay in graduation 3. Not sure. 10k is just a recommendation

Hello, Could you tell me please what is the advantage of applying with Sign-In Partner?? Like currently I'm in Canada and my study permit will expire soon. So, I need to extend my study permit. So please let me know what the benefit of applying with a Sign-in partner??? Is this like if I apply with Sign in a partner then I don't need to provide them my bank statement which they will do by my bank CIBC?? like this???

The only benefit I know of with using the sign-in partner is that you don’t have to create an account since you would use your banking info to login. But with the GC key, you’d have to make a new account. You still need to submit bank statements with both methods.

Hi, I can’t answer your question assuredly as I’m not an immigration worker. But I’d suggest not to travel out of Canada with an almost expired Visa as you might not be able to return. I can’t say if you’d be able to apply from India, it might be possible but it is better to avoid any risk.

Hello, My application was approved last Dec 21 for winter intake, but unfortunately, my passport is still in courier and i got my defer letter for September 2024 intake. Then, my Visa and Student permit will expire on January 2025, but my program will end on June 2025. Questions: 1.) Can i apply extension even if i am still here in the philippines? Or 2.) I think you can do any of the two but it might be best to apply for extension after you’ve started your program in Canada, as you’d need to show proof of registration

If you have a job. Show like future income by sending pay slips and letter of employment. Yiu need to show proof that you have funds that's it.. but your half payment will also count...

Extend your permit till whenever you want, always extend at least one year more than your graduation date. Yes you still need to show 10k proof even if you’ve paid your fees, that’s the recommendation. Watch my latest video

Because it was going to expire. The study permit has an expiry date so you have to extend it before then.

Yes I applied for an extension, even uploaded my pay checks etc, I also applied for co-work permit however I change DlI , I don’t no if it’s why the request for my passport

Hi, it’s a similar process but you’d have to apply for the temporary visa after renewing your study permit. The one on the passport is a temporary visa
