The exception that u selected is not there in any of the options….but there is an option which says “I qualify for other exception listed on the ircc website”. So should I select that? The other options are: I am an applicant applying to study at primary or secondary level from preschool, kindergarten and first through 12th grade, I am an applicant who is applying for restoration (in Canada applications only) l am an applicant applying to study at primary or secondary level from preschool, kindergarten and first through 12th grade.

Question: I renewed my passport from within Canada and now have to extend my study permit application (because the study permit was issued till the validity of my old passport). Now that i have my new passport, while filling Passport details in the form, am I supposed to enter the details of my new passport as thats the one with the longer validity or my old passport (that one still has the valid study visa stamp)? When you got study permit while entering in Canada, was the length of the permit given as per visa stamp lenth in ur passport? Or based on program lengh? Or as per passport validity? You wouldn’t be able to fake it there because you’ve to show proof too, I would say show whatever you and your family have, there is no particular amount that they deny study permit extension if proof of funds are lower than this requirement, you can consult with any Immigration Agent if you want to know in details as they might know more than me but of course they will charge hundreds of dollars too.

Bro I need help regarding funds. I have paid fees through my credit card and most of the time when I was getting my pay in cheqin account , I was putting those money in my credit card and in Savings account, so in my cheqin account the ending funds were roughly between 300 - 400, but in saving I am having big numbers. Rn I am having 4 digit number in my saving so should I transfer it to my cheqin just to show funds? and do I need to show my saving and cheqin both statements or just savings?

Employment for last 10 years (which means if you have started working in 2023, you can show that you were unemployed/NotWorking for 9 years and latest 1 yr you were working.

To be honest, applying for restoration and PGWP process might be some different than extending your study permit when old one is still valid, I would suggest to ask any Immigration consultant or research on internet

There isn’t any amount mentioned on their website they are looking for, I think if you’ve paid the next semester fees and have 2-3k then it should be fine, also if you’re working somewhere you can upload employment letter too which shows that you are going to earn part time to support your future expenses

I believe it has to be a separate application for work permit extension ( even I don’t think you can extend PGWP until you fall under that exception timeframe ), Would suggest to consult any immigration consultant if needed..

Yes I got few DMs too then some questions have been changed but I think it’s pretty simple still, once you select your study permit extension application has exception from PAL you should be all good( Note: It applies if you’re canada and as per the things Ive explained in video)

Doesn’t matter how much is your fees, what is important is whether you paid 1st semester fees or not, if yes you can put that receipt and whatever funds you have in bank is good in my opinion.

I don’t think there is any particular rule but the more funds you can show (fees paid+Funds in account (Yours/Family converted into CAD) it will make your file stronger as they will know that you’ve sufficient funds to survive for your second program. For my case I paid my 1st semester fees, included that receipt and showed around 2k which was left in my bank+ employment letter

Once Submitted the Employers are asking about proof pf submission and Receipt of fess paid for the application. Where can I get them any idea?
