Purchased a Memphis Shades Removable Bullet Fairing for my Fatboy Lo in order to deal with the wind which is always a problem when riding a cruiser. This Memphis Shades fairing can be installed on many Harley Davidson models, just requires a different set of brackets. These fairing by Memphis Shades all have pretty much the same installation process.
The bullet fairing, i feel, is far more unique and more original than the Memphis Shades Road Warrior Fairing as well as the plethora of Batwing fairings out on the market. however much like the Road Warrior Faring, the Memphis Shades Bullet fairing is easy to install and blocks most of the wind from hitting your chest.
In this MotoVlog I go through the entire installation, which was very easy, and do a full review on it.
The wind protection from this fairing is very good except from the sides. However that is due to the style of the fairing, not the quality. The fairing is close to being a Dyna Club West Coast style fairing, and gives my bike a much meaner look while making it a much more comfortable ride.

Just installed my Memphis Shades bullet fairing on my 2003 Fatboy. Had a hard time figuring out the bushing difference so thanks for the information. Bullet looks good on my black bike and helps with the wind at speed. Saw you ride in Miami..my wife and I were born and raised there. Been up in North Carolina for over 35 years now and enjoy riding on the back roads here; but miss my early biking days of riding thru Coconut Grove and out Alligator Alley at night..where there was no people or speed limits. Ride safe.

Great review. Wish Memphis would have stated on their website that it would be 3-4 weeks before shipment. Customer service by email was shiat as well. Maybe it will be here one day.

Was looking at something like this for my 2015 Honda Shadow Phantom. When going on the highway the wind beats the shit out of me once I get over 60mph or so. So much wind on my chest. I honestly wouldn't think this would block much wind on the chest but it seems to be doing fine for you. I was looking at this or the El Paso. Wish I could try one without paying for it lol. I prefer the look of my bike without one, especially since it's a little smaller so I am trying to get a windshield that keeps the look without a huge hulking windshield.

Murali G thank you! it should fit, just think you’ll need different brackets from Memphis shades. Make sure you check with them prior to ordering.

What is the height from top of the headlight to the tip of that bullet fairing? 11 or 13? ***edit - i just ordered one for my 2020 Slim

You have an excellent video and review of the fairing. I have not seen any others yet. I have a Fat Boy S and love the look of this fairing however I am also considering 12" apes/mini apes. In your opinion, do you think those bars would fit with this fairing since it comes so far back? If not, what bars are you using on your bike? BTW I am 5'10" with the stock bars and need to get rid of that fatigue on my shoulders and shoulder blades.

Hey Brian. Thanks for the compliments, I’m happy you’re enjoying the content. I’m not sure how the 12” apes would fit, tho I assume they should since you can adjust how they come back. I use 12” t bars and the fairing fits them like a glove. I too am 5’10”, and they are very comfortable.

As for the fairing, it should fit without a problem, just make sure you have the correct bike specific mounting brackets for your bike.

On my FatBoy Lo Im using 12” T-Bars. I am also 5’10” and these bars are completely comfortable. Not to mention they look baaaaaassss ass.
