This video should so many views! This advice was really helpful to hear. I keep reading books based off what other people love but but then I’m dragging my feet through it. Also fast reading isn’t quality reading! Someone finally said it lol.

Aww thanks so much! I personally think it's fun to read popular books to get involved in the fandom, but if you're not having a good time, then ditch it 😂 Glad to know my "hot take" about reading less was felt by someone else 🔥

Omg that part you said about the activation energy in 6:22....... I feel so SEEN jksdhfksd I struggle so much with just getting myself to START reading because it's such an active/non-passive activity, so it's always just a matter of getting myself in the zone!

LOL I'm glad it was relatable! I always feel like I'm kicking myself afterwards thinking "this was so easy I should've started sooner!" I think another way to get started is to set a pomodoro timer, bc I will tell myself "it's just 25 mins it's not that long" and then I can read more after that if I'm feeling it!
