pair the tome mods with the flare gear thing that boost affinity range makes it more useful

all these new shields mods i think are for those people who'll build for melee retaliation. which gives 30% melee damage in every 200 current shields, up to 480%. overshields halves the bonus.

I love how quick the community is to dislike this weapon only because it is supportive rather than "omg such large numbers roomclear 9000." I'd rather have 10 unique and enigmatic weapons than 10 "raw damage numbers" weapons. Kinda bites that people won't see it's potential because no one runs it out of spite for it doing "okay" but not "great damage." I am an OG Loki main, damage is secondary.

My opinion of the tome is, its not a weapon. Its a utility, and a damn powerful utility at that.

I honestly never even mess with secondaries really, I usually focus on my frame and primary weapon; as I don't use much else. Since the grimoire has come out I run it with every build now.

from other vidoes I've seen, I do believe you can slot one excelus and then one non excelus. Also, for the lols, slot in Grendel's Nourish with Helmith for double the energy regen.

I run this with a helminthed Nekros for a super support. I replaced Shadows of the Dead with Chains of Torment from Harrow. This givss Nekros reliable: Slows Armor Strip De-aggro Freeze (or hold) Ragdoll and an enemy clone if i play things right on top of whatever the tome grants my team. Honesy, its about time the game adds things for people like me. I stopped chasing damage numbers for team play once I realized that EVERYONE just chases damage numbers. Because of that, it becomes very difficult to justify adding another nuker when everything is killed by "that one dude in the corner." I kinda wish that the tomes had the ability to charge up an attack for an added attack mode, with different elemental attacks per charge mode (for extra status), but maybe we'll see that with a more damage orientated primary tome or whatever they have planned fod primary slot that fits "void spellcaster". Im honestly glad they made this but know this is a bit of a "pearls before swine" moment where the tyrant of "excessive efficiency" is the only thing in most these players minds.

I haven't had any luck with the rewards on mirror defense. Only got Mandonel parts so far

I find that to get to C rotation rewards it's faster to do alchemy since you can finish a wave much faster if you can kill really hard. I got to the 7th rotation in 23 minutes.

Damage is so mid I haven’t used it since doing the quest. Guess I really needs these mods to make it viable but will it replace my nukor never!

Radiation gas and electric is the way I mod it, the best I think. Thats a little bit of everything the new enemies are weak too.

It's important to note that the buffs you're raving about each last for 20 seconds. So, a lot depends on how quickly you can fill and use the alt fire -- and, of course, how many bad guys you hit with the alt fire. With the right playstyle and build, these mods can pay off to some extent, to be sure. But I think it's a bit much to say 'Absolutely Broken'. I mean, wouldn't it have been enough to say, 'Not bad at all!'? Just sayin'.

Who needs Energize? My Tankber who wants to keep Immolation up as much as possible and Energize is one of a very few methods to regain energy while I am burning oh so brightly.
