i think they don’t have control over this as companies directly pays to shareholders account but they can actually show the list of all dividends paid the companies whose share you bought

In AIS all the dividend received showed in the month may and june. Its not true. From the yearly bank statement we have to collect the dates of dividend received. Other platform like Axis direct gives dividend statement, but groww does not.

Let me explain how compounding works Yearly investment 100Rs Interest rate 10% 1st year = 110 (invested 100) 2nd year = 231 (invested 200) .. .. First year you got return 10Rs second year because of compounding you got return 31Rs

@Groww team, for current assessment year I have STCG gain only from stocks. It is 14%(1400 Rs) but after subtracting all the transaction charges it is just 200Rs. I am first timer, so I will have to pay STCG on 1400Rs or 200Rs?

100 equity shares of one company were gifted to me by my father through a transfer two years ago, and at the time of the transfer, its value was Rs. 1483 per share. During the second quarter of FY 2023-24, I sold it at Rs. 2548 per share. But when I got the capital gain statement, this txn was shown as 'buy not found'. Also, it is not reflected in either AS 26 dt 27.03.2024 or AIS dt 27.03.2024 so far. As such, kindly advise me on how to report this txn in my IT return for FY 2023-24 and the amount of tax to be remitted thereupon.

Sale Price: ₹2458 per share.. Purchase Price: The price paid by original owner (Jis value pe son kharida tha.) Assume it ₹1000.. Gain Per share 2458 - 1000 = 1458 Total profit = 1458*100 = 145800 Exempt profit 100000 Taxable profit = 45800

मैंम मैंने अपने फाइनेंशियल ईयर 2021 22 में अपना लॉस जो कि लगभग 74000 था, यह सोच कर नहीं दिखाया कि नेक्स्ट ईयर दोनों एक साथ आइटीआर में दिखा देंगे, लेकिन इस साल जब मैंने अपना आइटीआर भरा तो पिछले साल का लॉस इस साल में मेरे सीए ने यह कह कर नहीं दिखाया कि इसकी डेट दिसंबर 2022 तक ही थी। क्या अभी भी पिछले साल का लॉस इस साल के आईटीआर में दिखा सकते हैं ?? प्लीज बताइएगा।
