You forgot to take a break before an hour 8hrs so you are in trouble.

most states will write you a ticket if you sign the log before the day is over. you have to take a 30 minute break before 8 hrs. so not really the best video teaching people how to fill out a log!

People always work like 20 hrs and get taken B advantage of.

The "Total Mileage Today" field on the log sheet indicates the total (combined driving) of you and your co-driver ....or your total miles driving today if no co-driver present. Your field indicates that you drove 12,345 miles today. I'm curious as to how you did that legally within your 14 hour work day. ;-)

How does time change affect this? I’m assuming you put it further back on the clock?

What about if you start driving at 10pm and drive into the next day? Do I log my total miles for both days on the second days logs and only put my start miles on the first day?

can you make a video of how to fill these out for "local" trips? i received a citation for this violation a few weeks ago ($900+) fucken sucks!
@ernestovaladez75457 жыл бұрын
That does suck! Here in California, when I use to drive, I would fill it out the same way. Sometimes moving up and down every 15 minutes.

@ernestovaladez75457 жыл бұрын
Yes! Everything must be fulled out. That shouldn't be to hard. You are only adding your hours.

2 questions, if you drive local and don't go over 150 mile radius, but do drive longer than 12 hours. Do you have to fill out a log book for working over 12? And is it legal to work over 12?
@ir0k5122 жыл бұрын
If you're under the 150 mile air radius rule no! But! Some companies like to enforce pre and post trip inspections..
