In this video I talk about a question I get all the time: why isn't an order being filled. Couple of things that play into that are the bid, the ask and the bid-ask spread. Stocks with higher volume are gonna have tighter bid ask spreads, which is something we want, or else it might be too costly to get out of a trade. Robinhood is an app thats lets you invest in stocks and trade options.

It works so well with spreads, especially breaking the order up into smaller chunks. I have literally saved hundreds of dollars at this point doing that

Always low ball the limit orders, or raise if selling... many times it hits

Yes but also High volatility is what moves and triggers most below Bid and above Ask prices

I have a 4 option strategy thats in the money I want to close it out. What happens if it doesn't sell at my limit sale price by expiration?

when i placed a call trade the bid ask spread was .10 very good, at the end of day when i wanted to take a profit the bid 95/ ask 245, what price would be effective to close this trade out and take a profit

What to do when you are creating a strategy such as Short Iron Condor and you have four orders clubbed into one (two short + two long) ? My order never gets filled when I make and execute any strategy even though the volume is high. Pleassssssssssssse Help.

I think different sectors will go up differently depending on who wins.. of course there is also covid as well which might continue to drag down the market for months to come..

Try and check if your order is on Auto or direct(manual), talk to your brokerage if there’s no improvement of change. It might be a level issue where you’re put in the back-orders due to inexperience or “safe risk management”
