Wow I just got the notifications for this 9 months later. Yes, we found our cat after 11 days. She came back skinny and noticeably scared. She is doing well now and happy with her new little dog brother

You should've checked the local shelters for cats if there are any in your country. If not, just wait for her/him and hopefully come back. Yesterday, my cat has been gone for a few hours during the day and didn't come back the whole night. I searched for him but he didn't meow and there were no traces of him being killed by a dog or being went over by a car. I was very upset and I thought I lost him. Fortunately, he returned in the morning like nothing happened. He wasn't dirty but was extremely hungry. It is possible that he had been chased away by a dog and stayed hidden for the night. Hope your pet came back. I know how it feels to lose a cat, sadly, multiple cats I had were went over by a car :( The grief is terrible, but after some time, you will forget and move on...

@@shahinnnx she was using the deck to hide from danger, cats are smart. I found my cat at 8am she was out after the squirrels during the day. I found her in the small bushes since she is black color and little bit of while it was very hard to see her but I had to stare at bushes and found her, she was looking at me and she forgot who I was. When I grab her she didn't want to then I force her and she scratch my face and force her in the house. Then she remembered me and changed completely

This may make you feel better.. it may not. But one time we were missing our cat for THREE YEARS!! We completely gave up hope after the first year... one day we were just sitting and eating lunch when my grandma called me and my mom.. My grandmas an animal lover, especially cats. And she volunteered at an animal shelter for a very long time. Well, we pick up the phone and my grandma asks “how old was your cat when he went missing” my mom went silent “about 9 years old... why?” My grandma “did he have a big black patch on his side” my mom “well.. he had a little one on his side.. what’s going on?” “I think I found your cat...” we’ve never packed up so quick and drove somewhere. We ran inside and ran past my grandma and we didn’t even need to know what cage he was in, we knew. We ran up to the cage.. it WAS him. He was pretty ferrel.. except to us. He LEAPED out of the cage and cuddled us so hard. He was growling at the same time because my grandma was standing next to us, but his purr overrided his growl... he was so happy. He lived with us for another 4 years before he decided to leave again... him being 16 years old.. figured it probably wasn’t an accident.. if you know what I mean. Even though we didn’t get to see him for 3 years, getting to spend his last 4 years with him was everything. Keep trying!! Do not give up!! Even after a year it’s still possible!! Even after 2 or 3 years, hell, my grandma had a cat come back after missing for 7 years!!! No joke!!!! She barely recognized it, the only reason she KNEW was because the cat had dental work done while in her care, and the x rays lined up with the dental work! I volunteered with my grandma a lot at the animal shelter, and it’s amazing how long animals can be missing before they are found.. the main reason they aren’t found is because the owners give up... so don’t give up!!!!! If it helps, the main average seemed to be 3-4 months with cats and about 1-3 weeks for dogs. Dogs are much more food motivated and people friendly which really makes it easier to find help. Cats on the other hand.. usually like their owner, and that’s it, so it makes it a lot harder for the cat to reach help.

Subrn omg that’s so sad! It will be okayyy. My cat actually came back the same day but in the middle of the night. It was spotted by one of my neighbours and they called my mom. I know it’s also really hard to find a cat because of this situation, but somethings that might help is informing ur neighbours that ur cats been missing or you can keep a favorite toy or bed or food outside ur doorstep. Don’t worry cats are just full of curiosity. I bet that ur cat is trying to find it’s way back right now! Just be optimistic!

I k ew of someone whose cat was in his apt. He thought it got out, but was in a closet. One time, we had people working on our house, they found our cat in a place we did not know of in n our house. There was a home in the wall, he went in, went far under some stairs.

Leave out a t shirt and bowl of water. Make sure its one that smells lkme you,not a fresh just washed shirt.

It is possible that he had a disease and died or a dog killed him. (Those are really the worst possible things that can happen, but they rarely ever happen. Don't make the first sentance discourage you in finding your lost cat!) But those are very rare situations, especially if they are small. The most possible option is that someone took "adopted" him/her. Many people love small kittens, and if they see them outside alone, they would think its an abandoned kitten. (I once adopted a kitten that I saw on the streets.) I advice you to keep your kittens at home until they grow and be at least 6 months old. Then you can let them outside. Also keep your CATS home at night to keep them safe from outside dangers (such as cars). If u have a small room to make them a place to live and feel safe, that would be great! Hope ypu found your kitten! Don't forget to TALK TO YOUR NEIGHBOURS when your cat gets lost. SEARCH fot him/her, never give up. Check the local cat shelters, if there are any in your city. This is the best advice I can give you, sadly, I have very tragic experiences with cats. Hope this helps you in your further "adventure" with having cats.
