guys also do NOT forget to get gas masks Firstable Combat Gas Masks can be found at militaries such as the refugee camps and so on you can also find Gas masks with detachable filters from fire stations and hospitals then before hopping into the sphere to A3 there should be a toxic zone around the sphere and in the A-3 bunker there will be a toxic zone as well i learend the hard way that i needed gas masks

Awesome glad I could be helpful! Just a reminder many servers now have Gas in A3! So you'll need a gas mask and filter.

I just went to submarine from A2 (thank you so much for the guide) and I took like 5 keycards from the submarine. and I am currently going to go back to A2.

EMAC Flow Controller extends the time allowed inside Lantia by 2 minutes APAC triggers EVER Storm Both found in Lantia (will need a 2nd run to use them) Placed in Control Panel at A3!

What exactly does the APAC surge module do?

Good question, from my understanding, when you trigger a portal at the FLAX control panel (without an APAC) it must makes the Orb to jump in, no EVR storm. If you attach the APAC it makes an actual EVR storm that everyone on the map experiences ( and get knocked out).

After getting to A3, you said you need to wait for the current EVR to finish. Do you need to wait for another EVR to start before activating the Flax control panel? Or as long as the current EVR is finished you can create the portal to Lantia?

@@jono6364 Yeah no problem! I tried to pin a comment and edit the description, yep something new! All be it, some servers may or may not have gas in A3 (custom server edits) but most popular hardcore servers will have gas in A3. Filters usually last between 8-10 minutes. I think 1 would cut it, but close, 2 should be totally good. (no need for full NBC, just Gas Mask.) I usually can find one in Athena Research if I haven't found one already. Good luck!

How do you do freecam-type stuff like that in DayZ? I have the offline mod but can't seem to find any sort of freecam/flycam feature like that.

Good luck! I still struggle with it to be honest. I found bringing materials for about 3+ fire places is essential.

Bit late to the vid but i havent heard anyone talk about this yet Once activating the portal to A4 could you take the items out of the panel to keep them for your next journey or do the items have to remain in it for then to properly work

So you do all of that just to have like 60 seconds on the planet then leave ? If you die before the next update you'll need to loot those items again .. any idea when the update is coming so you can leave and explore ?

You nailed it, yep it's wild, all that for 1 minute. But you do get the best protective vest in Namalask from it, if you loot and escape. Update is tomorrow! 9/29

haha A5... funny you ask, because Namalsk is supposed to get one last final content patch. We will see what that brings! Good question on the plate carrier, I believe it basically has the OLD stats of the Plate Carrier (pre-nerf). So it's better than the current normal plate carrier. (I am not exactly sure the real armor values.)

Any Namalsk server yep. Maybe some crazy heavy modded server might disable the EVR storm completely. But almost all Namalsk servers should have it, its a vanilla built thing by the map maker.

Can you explain why some people get back into A3 after jumping back in the portal from Lantia and some get teleported to the ice or a random spawn?

@@Nitno no I went through, but it seemed to have teleported me somewhere else about the ice and I fell to my death. At least thats what it looked like before I hit the ground.

To enter A3 (on most servers) now a gas mask is required. A combat gas mask has a built in filter you are good for about 10 minutes. The NBC Respirator and Regular Gas Mask take swappable filters, that last about 8 minutes.

@@randallmartin3825 For about 1 minute I believe. The space suit was designed to allow you to go deeper into Lantia. Before the space suit, you just went in with a gas mask. But only had 1 minute.

The server was laggin when we approached A-1 and the outer radiation hadnt spawned so we didnt even know, not until we ported over. Then i went back in this video and i seen you wearing one.
