Housing crisis is no joke. I tried moving to the netherlands and had to leave after 3 months because I couldn't find a place to live. Now I bought a working holiday visa for australia, and I'm worried the same thing will happen. It seems like so many places have become off limits recently with rental crises.

I have heard the Netherlands is quite bad!! Hopefully you don't have any issues with housing here. Big cities tend to have more competition but smaller towns its pretty simple. Thanks for watching 🤟

Hi Dain! I have been looking for an apartment on AirBnb in Sydney for my boyfriend and I for when we move this autumn, and wondering if the prices I have been seeing are realistic at all or are total rip-offs: 4000-5000 AUD/month for one bedroom apartments - what do you think? I assume it would be cheaper through proper rental but I'm a bit afraid of the whole process of inspection, competing with others for places etc..

Honestly that’s the crazy prices I’ve been seeing ! It’s eye watering 🥲 Airbnb will always be more expensive so I’d say if your here for at least 6 months get a lease ! It was a bit intimidating but it was fine, I think we viewed about 6 in one day and just showed our interest in the ones we liked !

Hi, when applying for the visa, did you have to submit a police certificate? I’ve seen a few websites online saying this is mandatory but others saying it isn’t. Thanks
