Just a tip, if you're a new player searching for items and not necessarily for bases, the area of 30k-70k from spawn on each axis is great for small stashes.

Another Tip if you want to find dupe stashes: Look for thin chunktrails. They are a sign of a geared player that has an elytra and possibly other items to dupe.

As a rule, on any server without TPA or /home and /spawn, there will be more bases near spawn and better bases further away.

flying with future elytrafly at a high enough speed, chunks around you wont generate fast enough, only the ones you are in. this leaves a 1 wide trail which isnt really visible in newchunks.

"Sometimes the trails end with no reason" Check if they went back into the nether if that is the case

at 2:38 you mentioned that impact has all of the cheats you talked about, but Impact's elytraflight doesn't work on 2b, I'd highly recommend using other free client such as KAMI Blue

A base I found once because it had a sign telling his friend to go into that tunnel. Went through every portal and found the relative big base. Also I kinda hate the fact you upload this vid as any sensible human could think of that himself, but now every Joe will do it. I played on 2b2t years ago. I had 3 different bases established before I continued my journey outward. I don't even remember where they were. I'd love to visit them again someday to see what became of them, but finding them again would probably be impossible.

Maybe some other general Minecraft basehunting hints: 1. Nether debris. Players destroy the natural beauty of the Nether on a frequent basis. They leave bridges, random cobblestone jumping blocks, and plenty more. You can use this to locate high script areas and portals. 2. Use the seed! Anyone willing to wander hundreds of thousands or millions of blocks out has probably pre-selected what terrain they want to build on using a seed finder. They may have even used creative mode in single player to plan out their base in that terrain. Anything interesting and attractive to base builders will be more likely to have a base there. Make sure to use backdated versions too. Since they could've built their base a long time ago.

Yesterday, i was playing on 2b2t, just adventuring to see peoples amazing builds (i didn't grieved them though). After 2 hours later. I found a dupe stash filled with pvp kits and build kits.
