right sir, overhead water tank will be above the staircase roof so to carry the load the four corners of the staircase needs columns

So if the column size i found is 27,5 x 27,5cm the size of the wall have to 27,5cm as well? or i can turn it to 5 x 15cm if i want to have 15cm width of wall?

20 columns? I think 15-16 columns are enough for 1500ft² residential building if we place it correctly.
