I just started the game yesterday on Xbox one. I wondered the coast and searched small towns while doing so. While I was searching a town, I started finding decent gear, a shotgun (without ammo..) before I begun looting a building where I instantly found 3 stab(?) Vests then another one in a storage room, I was confused until a zombie coppa poofed outta nowhere from the lobby and jumped me in the cells area. That confirmed my thoughts of the building being an police station, but oh BOY did the zom-coppa scared me!

That is such bs I didn't know there were tiers for weapons I thought everything was just random =(

This video is my first impression of this producer AND this concept. I knew you can get better loot the more inland you go but I had no idea it was so defined. Furthermore, I didn’t quite realize the loot was so sectionalized. (Obviously, you’re not going to find NVG in a grocery store naturally but I didn’t know the loot was distributed quite this strictly. This is a tremendous help! Liked AND subscribed.

That’s why you have to build up from Tier 1 to Tier 4, survive first and then live.

Fun fact: Mosins most commonly spawn in Orange Stilted Houses, and IZH-43(double barrel shotgun) spawn in the wooden train cars. As well, the Revolver and Desert Eagle most commonly spawn in Vybor, in the Log cabin next to piano house. Thank me later.

Finnally the video i was looking for. Ive been trying to find videos on how to find the best loot and guns. Every video i found have explained it by cities i wanta go to but im a n00b and dont know how to get to those cities and areas very well. The way u put it by tiers and areas those tiers are in like telling me to go farther inland to find the best loot was a huge help thank u very much i was getting ready to give up on this game cuz i can never find good loot such as food and guns cuz i didnt know it was in tiers and i didnt know to go inland i was starting to think this game was a waste of 40 buks

M4: Am I a joke to you?

I used to watch dayz videos but never owned the game, and recently I grouped up with some random people that were actually pretty cool. One of them was apparently a dayz expert, and knew every location. I think he took us to either tier 3 or tier 4 but we found some amazing stuff. Then the server data got wiped and now I don’t have that stuff anymore. :( Fun fact: We started with 7 people, then before the server wiped, we had only 3 people.

I've been playing the game for a few months so pretty new but already notice the changes in loot spawns every time they've patched the game. Useful tips I'd give beginners at this current time is certain loot spawns around it's main building if makes sense. If you're at a hospital make sure you check surrounding cars, garages and buildings closest to the hospital, as medical supplies will be in those places regardless of what type of loot should spawn at these placed. In zelenegorst for instance the train next to the military base now produces double loot, both industrial and military, probably a glitch due to how close the train is to the military campsite. Also the outdoor toilets seem to be a new goldmine that alot of players overlook, you'll find everything you'd normally find in garages plus bullets but without car part spawns. It's a go to place to find semi rare items, sharpening stones, nails, compass, small melee weapons, bullets etc. I usually find if I've spawned in a place already heavily looted these outdoor toilets have been overlooked. Cooked fat is super op. If u tap the drink button 27. Or maybe 28 times you'll be fully hydrated, you dont need to wait for each loading circle.

I’ve found Skorpion, MP5K, and military gear in tier 1 zone in that military camp and the apartments don’t ever have diddly squat in them. Also sure if your the first person on a fresh server restart to enter you can get this juicy loot but maybe at a cost so everyone who goes to military you always have like 99.99% a Chad is waiting for you.

Plenty of civ buildings spawn weapons as well like the cr75, ij70, shotguns, bk-18, and you can find mosin in tier 2 houses. Mostly orange and green houses in komapobo are the most common houses to find them. Shotguns and bk-18s can also spawn inside of small double door sheds.

Spawned into my second ever game last night. Spent ages walking up to a big high rise housing development on a hill and then even longer exploring them, finding nothing. Starving to death, I wander around the streets until I saw a shop. I managed to make it to the steps before I died. I found nothing

Bought the game. First 5 games I died of starvation. 6th game took me two and a half hours just to get enough food, clothing and a frying pan. Walked into a house, got jumped by two fresh spawns, knocked one out, then got knocked out. Woke up to see the noob trying to hit me, got up and sconned him with the frying pan. Beat them both to death and took all the food they had, then logged out for the day. That’s my DayZ story.

You missed grocery stores and super markets, which can spawn civilian clothes, school back packs, compasses, seeds, plastic water bottle and cooking pots. Also, the security buildings can spawn pistol suppressors that can be used obviously for pistols, but also on the submachine guns (mp5, UMP, skorpion(maybe they need Eastern suppressor, not sure)). Also, also, you didn't mention suppressors at all. Otherwise, great video. I subbed, so despite my criticisms, I appreciate your hard work 👍🏻

M4's are super rare...tier 3-4 is were you'll find them. Don't expect to see them often. I hunted one for 2 weeks. You can find them occasionally at military tents and heli crashes.

During my first few days of playing 2 years ago, I was on a server with some friends and I went to those really tall apartments and found this fully loaded M4 with a magazine and started mowing down zombies.

I'm a complete noob at this game, brought it for ps4 after watching it on KZfaq ever since it came out as an arma mod. So Much harder than it looks. My fav game

My favorite places to loot is the apartments northwest of chenarus because you’ll usually find a lot of dead and alive geared players
