I’m not a fast talker. And I feel like the enemy has used that to weaken my relationship with God. But I God said that I was ready for it and he would be with me. Unlike everybody else I've never even made it to high school let alone college, mainly because of my short term memory problem. But yet God gave me the gift of knowing how to drive and knowing somethings about and how to operate a smaller tractor or lawn mower tractor anyways. So I really wonder a lot nowadays with the way everything is now, if I should get My Drivers license and my own pickup truck and go out and do some lawn care for people, to earn a little bit of extra money for my family's small ranch needs and wants. I do feel a lot that god would want me to do something like that. 👍

I left a well paying job to move to another country and want to start a job I like rather than keep doing what I used to do. I'm letting God lead the way. I took an intro class to my desired career after moving and most of my classmates have all gotten jobs, but I haven't yet. I think I needed to learn to trust in God, just like it says in the video. I have felt myself draw nearer to Him in my wait, and He has provided for my family's every need at just the right time. He is so good! I'm thankful that over time, He is teaching me to let go of the stress and anxiety of change and uncertainty. I don't know how long it will be before I am gainfully employed full-time, but I know it will be where He wants me to be as long as I listen for His guidance. Idk if it’s my calling, but I’m trying to be a writer. It’s literally one of the ONLY things that gives me fulfillment, something to work towards, something to look forward to… I pray that by His name it will be done, and through His might will I be able to accomplish it.

An additional recommendation: Volunteer at your local church to gain skills and find out what Gods call is for your life. I was very shy. When I volunteered at church, I learned to get comfortable greeting people. I later took on more responsibility and it helped me later when finding a job. I still volunteer but now I share this with youth in church who are confused about their career path or who don't have work experience. Church is also full of people with different career backgrounds and experiences. So it's a good way to get access to counsel from those who (hopefully) are godly people and want the best for you.

As someone who is taking a paycut to follow my heart and God's calling I really appreciated this video at the moment. It's hard to explain to family and friends why I would want to leave a "good job" for less but there is so much more to my life than just chasing money. Thanks, and keep up the good work!

God put on my heart to go into medicine when I was 7. I thought I wasn't smart enough for medicine so I tried to be a American Sign Language interpreter but that door closed. After going job to job, was honestly at a dead end. So the Lord spoke through my family and I went to medical assisting school. It was TOUGH for me, but by the grace of God he helped me through it. I have now been an MA for 9 years and continue to enjoy it. If God truly calls you to something and you are willing to listen and follow, don't be afraid.

I wish I saw this video 20 years ago when I was losing my way. Now 20 years later I am lost and stuck. Pretty much the only step I do well is #3 but so far I have not had any real revelations. I have been guided quite well in other aspect of my life but career and work seems to allude me. The best jobs for me have always been more physical, but my body is slowing down even as I try to get it back in shape. And one of my fears is finding a good career path and having my body give out, to injury or just not able to keep up with the demand. I will take this video and think on it, maybe something will sink in. Finding that goal, what I am meant to do or working towards seems to be the most challenging so far, I am sure once I got that figured out the rest would fall into place.

Im 15, i Wish for a career in motorsport but my friends tell me i don't have a chance. I, on the other hand, believe that God made me fastlearning for a reason, so, even tho i am a little old for motorsport, i truly believe God will help me with my journey. My biggest and most valuable example that God gave to me is with f1 driver Ayrton Senna that was a very religious person before and after every race. God bless!

YES! You mentioned my favorite verse of the Bible: Psalm 139:14. I used it on a Scholarship Competition on November 17th,2022, causing me to win a prestigious scholarship! I am majoring in Computer Science but also have a YT channel since August 17th,2023. I started it to remain optimistic after the accident I had. Also, this video made me cry!

I had a similar path to finding my current career. I got an expensive college degree and pursued first being an Air Force officer and then an air traffic controller, despite both being very poor matches for my personality. After then working in an extremely boring office job for a few years (but what ended up being a perfect job for the pandemic), I finally decided to pursue the dream I had since I was eight- to be a truck driver, and have never been happier in my job. I still struggle with the feeling that I wasted 10 years of my life, especially since I still have a balance on my student loans, and still struggle with explaining to people why I walked away from a potentially lucrative career path.

Recently I signed up for a trade school for IT. I also recently renewed my faith. And it was like god was showing me who i really was. Technology has always been a passion of mine. But i have bigger aspirations than being a simple coder. I want to help the world. Maybe my time in IT might be the first step god took me on to help the world. So, may god take me on the path to help the world.

I was just doing research on science and art careers i wanted to pursue in the future. I was overwhelmed by the choices and their salary ranges thinking it wouldn't be enough. Most of my family work in the medical field (doctor, pharmacist, nurse, etc) which make good money, but I personally wasn't interested. It made me feel guilty thinking i wouldn't be successful or make them proud but, this video popped up on my recommendations. I remember asking God to help me make the right choice when it comes to my future career and you posted. The Lord is good and even if He is silent, He is always working 😭❤

Even if our age or our race may be different and these times become very hard. I pray we all find out our gifts and what to do. Im 28. Talk like i know everything but im also lost and confused and so unknowning of wisdom of what my gifts to master are. I pray that God helps us all and i want to thank him openly for all things he has given me!!

Great video. My niece, for as long as I can remember, always wanted to be what she called a baby nurse. Starting at around 3 years old or so. That was her goal. To work in a hospital in the nursery. Fast forward to her junior or senior year in high school. She was able to intern at the hospital in the NICU. While she absolutely LOVED doing everything she possibly could there, she realized it was no longer going to be her goal. She still loves kids. She runs the daycare at the local YMCA, and is in her 3rd year of college to now become a teacher. She realized she definitely wants to take care of babies and children, but her passion now lies in teaching. She has always worked with children growing up. Starting at the nursery in church. She started helping there at around 12 and was paid to work the nursery when she got older, and so she learned she was not wrong in her passion for caring for babies and children. She was just wrong about the career. All this to say your advice about interning, or volunteering at the job you are passionate about, is always a good idea.. While you may find it is not the exact job for you, as you always thought it would be, it was necessary to find your true path. God knows what He's doing, even if we don't.

This year I realised I had a strong urge to help people, to ease their suffering and to be their for them and make the scene. I have lots of desire too, mostly falling under music, art, science, storytelling and technology that could make people's life easier. I grew up suffering from a chronic illness and I care a lot about people suffering mentally and physically and people who aren't seen and have their life difficult. I just want to ease it. My passion is pursuing a career in the medical field, that's the long term goal for now I want to use what I have to help and it's the things I listed

I pray God will help me get away from this deli job that I work at. It's a good job that helps keep me busy but I feel it has drawn me further away from my Father in heaven. I pray He'll help me find a job that brings meaning to my life, that draws me so close to Him that it brightens those that I work for. I pray God helps me be a good teacher and a good caregiver, I pray this job also allows me to be close to my family and have time to be with them and teach them in the ways of the Lord. Amen.

In relation to tip no. 5, I started speaking with Paul Allen. I look to have a career in Sports Journalism and I want to know how to navigate it with faith. Paul is the radio play by play announcer for the Minnesota Vikings and he is also a Christian. At the same time I’m praying to God to know if this is really the career for me. I do believe that I have gotten signs that it is but it’s a long process.

You reminded me of myself a lot, I am actually a firefighter (Payed on call not full time) in BC Canada right now and I'm pursuing wildland structural protection. I have considered going into a career in it but the reality of having moving into a city and leave the beautiful countryside I live in right now nags at me as something I would regret. And I'm also a carpenter during the day, and although it is rewarding work to build houses, there is something lacking in that too. God has blessed me with a love of philosophy and mentorship, so I will pray and see how i can use my experiences that i've gained to glorify God. thank you for the inspiration.

I don't know why I'm commenting about my calling, but I will comment anyways (I guess it helps me assess myself): I'm going to be studying engineering this Fall. I wanted to be an engineer because I have a passion in trying to invent things and I believe that God gifted me with excellence in math/logic. I really love the calmness of life where I live in. I'm also going to a nice church and I have a lot of good connections around. This makes me want to stay in the same area where I currently live. However, choosing to stay means that I may not be working in the coolest engineering companies that I dreamed to have. I do believe that God will help me choose the right path. His plans are greater than mine.

Although I need to go to some retreats in order to know if that's what I truly want, I still have a deep desire to be a housewife. I'm 25, and I've not dated before, so I'm nervous... I was forced into a career I didn't want for many years and I lacked so much knowledge of God's word for that period of time. It's not that I wanted money for myself but I had to pay rent because living with family. If I had the knowledge I do now, I would of had a better career now. I just didn't have a good up bringing and my family is horrible with money, I mean I'm at the age where I should already have my own family. The people I live with right now hate God so much and don't want to hear the truth. How many times can a person be broken? What drive a person to want to follow God? The kind of person who know they sinned against a Holy God.

Man I wish I had a financial class back in high school lol. We had no guidance councilor or anything on future planning. I did get a college degree, but have never found work in the field. Stayed working in retail, but I really never had a clear cut idea of career I'd actually like.

I have always felt inspired by your way of presenting things Impact Video Ministries, and I feel awe and wonder about the different realizations and insights I learn from every video. I read scripture and give inspiration testimonies at church and it seems ive been raised from the beginning for public speech IE. performing poetry at family reunions and speaking at funerals. A week ago God touched me like a small caress of the wind This made me cry as if I could finally see that God was real, present and listening But now I can't feel the same touch as that day I hope it can be some sort of challenge because I'm afraid to think I've done something so horrible that I'm not even worthy of feeling his touch It could also be because I don't read the Bible enough and don't put it into practice
