You are my sunshine~ Thanks Iris. I love your finger paintings and thank you for inspiring us. A few years ago I was googling for finger paintings cause I was very interested in it(First years I couldn't find much but later) and found some of your works and the book. I had so much fun finger painting myself and also with my art friends (young and old, talented or not etc) We all had so much fun in my small art class room. And now I do lots of finger paintings. Thanks. It changed my art life a bit (depressions and ...) and I love it. ^^ I can't wait to see your new studio finish and you are working in the new studio. I don't want to go NY much anymore since you moved. Someday... Anyway hope you are having a good day. ^^

My hands are numb this is beautiful what made you do finger painting? I’m Trying to paint an angel I kept dropping the brushes and started using my fingers I’m doing it in acrylics but if you think oils would be better for me I would buy some oil paintsI had chemotherapy five years ago and it left me with numb fingers and feet I find painting relaxes me and I just found you I’m glad I did and I will look at all your videos thank you

Iris, your work is beautiful. I paint abstract impressionism in heavy body acrylics. i have never used oil. do you think i could do the same techniques with my acrylics?

Me too I never worked with oils. I tried acrylic on her first episode on the koi painting. It worked! Maybe difference acrylics dries fast 😁 and oil colors looks brighter I think. Love her paintings too.

Angie you can use the same techniques but results will be somewhat different. I’m a fingerpainter too and I started with student grade acrylics. If you want to see how it looked check the First video in my IG account mashi_s_fingerpainting
