Some people don't exactly have the longest legs, with that being said, in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu the Triangle Choke is known as a technique for "lengthy" grapplers exclusively.
This isn't true.
In this video I'll go over finishing the Triangle as someone who's not lengthy, both for traditional Triangle chokes and the Mounted Triangle.
The big focus will be on getting an angle to secure a tighter choke, plus a couple extra small details that can make or break your finishing ability.
I'll also talk about some of the common issues us short legged grapplers have with finishing the triangle and how to optimize this technique for our own Jiu-Jitsu Game.
Hopefully these details help you finish more triangles in Jiu-Jitsu (or even MMA), both from bottom and mount.
