I remember visiting my great grandmother at Scarborough in the 1970s. We'd drive over the original Hornibrook bridge, and on a windy day at high tide, the saltwater would break over the windscreen of our Ford Cortina. Great memories.

Not that your old videos weren't top notch, but your editing in this video is taking it to another level. Not complaining, because I'm local,. You want to grow your channel more, maybe consider more generic commentary if you do want you channel to grow more as it should. Because fish don't massively change around the world, they all eat the banks and target shelter

Thanks Oyvey. Agree. There is lots I can improve on. That’s part of the fun.

Excellent again Wayne. We headed down bald head creek to try for crab this week. On a sad note it's a shame what has been going on up at Scarborough the last few months. Pots are being targeted badly. Commercial or private doesn't matter. Our mate around the corner had 23 damaged or stolen. They were destroyed. We had 8 now and the list goes on for locals about 50+. Have started patrolling on the boat and the usual spots on land but no luck. I saw a few last week about 9-10pm couldn't catch em.

I gave up crabbing for that reason

Thanks, Wayne. I live up close to the Hay's Inlet/Kedron Brook/Saltwater Ck Green Zone. I've wandered down there checking out the area and it is alive with fish. I like to check for illegal set lines and pots and make them 'disappear'. I've heard second-hand stories of big Cod and even wrasse being taken from that area. Oh, and the new Capestone estate lake (which was once a creek holds a lot of marine life. I've heard you can net prawn down near the train station (not in the Green zone as yet).

I use to fist the reaches of Hays prior to the Green Zone. Sensational area.

Slack water is in front of the pylons, not behind them.
