Looks good I like the pump handle. I started brewing last October I get ingredients from Norfolk or Suffolk brewery. But use plastic barrels. And no they don't leak if you strip them down a reassemble them in a clean environment using a little vasseline on connection s and mating surface s Looks goo and taste got with plenty of head.

Excellent! I installed an Angram engine in my bar about 9 years ago. I'll never bottle again! I feed from 5 gallon corny kegs I use as secondaries located in a masonry cellar below ground level beneath the bar. I installed a propane regulator to a CO2 tank that gives me about 11 inches of water column as make-up gas. It's not enough to carbonate the beer, and my casks never go off from oxidation. I don't care what CAMRA says about it, I serve real, cask-conditioned ales! Good on ya, buddy!

That is totally awesome!! Using a propane regulator!!! i am a brewer here in the States and I've been looking at methods to pour/pull a "Real Ale". Now to get to work on a system for us. Already have a fridge - so can maintain 50 degree serving temp. Thanks, David.

Hi Simon. Thanks for the great video. Is there a connector for the 9 pint mini kegs available? I have been using a used Anagram pump in my bar shed for a couple of years. Up to now, I’ve just been popping out the air valve at the top of the kegs sticking the pipe in there and snugging it up with sponge draught excluder tape. I keep the keg in a ‘mini bar’ type fridge with a hole drilled through the top for the pipe. I use ChemSan to sanitise the equipment. Has worked fine so far but is a bit of a faff so was wondering about a purpose made connector as I can’t find one on the web. Thanks again.

I got a couple questions, just ordered the pint365 deluxe in black and chrome, I ordered the chocolate stout from s7n brewery in the bag and box, on the s7n brewery website they also do it in a 5ltr keg would I need to faff about with the keg like you had to do with the hob goblin or could I just clip it straight on? And the next question do they send you the beer pump clips to put on your tap when you order a box of beer off the pint 365 website or do you have to buy them separately?

What does the smaller diameter nozzle do different
@Ben-jr3ji
@Ben-jr3ji 3 жыл бұрын
Gives you a much bigger and thicker /creamier head. Tend to have to pull slower with them as you’ll just get a pint of head... The smaller diameter is dubbed as a northern sparkler and the wider one as a sputter sparkler. Hence as northerners have a bigger head on their beer compared to the southerners, who have a small to non existent head...

2 questions, used to be bar manager in a pub, so this rings a lot of bells and takes me back. However, 1, what about cleaning the lines? And 2, don’t the supermarket 9l kegs or beer in a box require the beer to settle? Would sometimes have to wait a day or 2 to get the beers and ales in a good, drinkable state.
@AnalogueInTheUK
@AnalogueInTheUK 2 жыл бұрын
No need to wait. The minikegs contain filtered beer. It is often pasteurised too. I presume the Hefe beers are unfiltered but still pasteurised. The beerinabox is usually 'real' and and needs to settle for a day or two at cellar temperature.
