Really useful video, thanks. I've fitted these to my Zafira Tourer. The standard headlights I've found to be so poor, they're almost dangerous. This upgrade makes them much better!

This is a *must* upgrade for every Zafira Tourer owner. The Halogen HIR2 bulbs are really, really bad. It's actually mind boggling what a *massive* difference the LEDs make. It's literally a huge, huge difference and much safer driving at night.

You can pull the screenwash pipe out gives you more access to the back of the light

Hello! U can simply pull out the screenwasher's tube, Just pull it up, and get free space. ;)

to make it easier to change the passenger side bulb, you can just remove the windscreen washer bottle filling tube, I have big hands and that's the only way I can get my hand in there, not hard to do

Top video mate, very informative. I have a Zaf, 17 plate. The 3rd brake light is only half working but can't find one for sale anywhere to replace it, any ideas? Part number at all? Thanks in advance.

Worth noting that it is illegal to upgrade the bulb from halogen to LED. That said, I believe it makes a massive difference compared to standard. Do you have a link to the bulbs you fitted?

Zafira tourer and insignia have projector lights so its no problem, if you have standard lights the beam pattern will blind oncoming traffic.

Passes MOT without issue. I have 2 x Zaf-C’s running LED past few years no problem 👍

@@zafira-tourer-videos that's good. I've got a vauxhall with standard factory fit bulbs and they're rubbish, poorest headlamps I've had. I'd like to change the bulbs to brighter ones but once got told I couldn't . I'll look into the options

Hi thank you for the video, I have an insignia 2012 SRI , am looking to get Led bulbs for my car, do i need a converter for them since i have halogen bulbs so i don't get an error message on my dash?

Mkhululi Jele no converter needed as far as I know. They should just plug and play, as they do on my Tourer 👍

Facelift is different, the headlight housing is reflective style. Not like projectors in earlier Tourers. LED’s don’t work well in them 😞

I have 16 plate Zafira and I’ve tried leds with decoder and still gives me errors. How did you manage to clear the errors?!?

No errors here, why are you using a decoder? These should be HIR2 straight swap bulbs, with no errors.

how to connect led in insignia 2010? there is ballast on bottom on headlight. do i need to take that ballast out?

If you have ballast i assume you have xenons so why not just fit upgraded xenon bulbs

Ballast = Xenon. Don't put LED in!

Martin Mc Hi, yes I would! They have been great, very bright and throw the light well. No dash warnings or anything. Recommended 👍

So no bulb checking there I think. I put a w5w in to see works it does lol no error or flashing.

I've just bought a 2015 astra gtc has these lenses in it and had to get a a bulb fitted in it but I find that the aim is a bit odd seems very low and and even tried adjusting the aim from the dash and only goes lower its that just how the lenses are in those projector lenses or it is that maybe the dealer put the bulbs in upside down of they can even go the wrong way in ? Don't really know much about the vauxhalls

Arent K21 the 9012 HIR2 replacements, why did you use K20?

Guess you used K20 as they're cheaper. I've just fitted the K21s which are painless as they are a HIR2 fitting and can only fit one way.

So ,in the Tourer, once the bulb is in and locked in place the LED's should be either side of each other? Like this .|.

Yes. The LEDs should face the side of the car

Do you have a link to the bulbs you bought. I guessing since you didn't mention it in your video that they didn't cause and error codes or flicker issues once fitted. I have a 2013 and am struggling to find bulbs that are listed for fitting my vehicle

alanpaton694 I’ve not mentioned them as I’m not really ‘marketing them’ but they were KoomToom ones from Amazon. No flickering or error codes in over 6 months. As I fitted them to mine first, before wife’s car to see how the went. I might do an update video on that to explain. Mine are 2014 and a 2016 plate.
