So helpful! I didn’t even need to contact google. Just plug it in and out with 10 secs interval and it’ll reset eventually. Such a pro tip!!

Mine worked after just unplugging it and re-plugging it in but it was not 8 times it was more like 20 but it’s working now so THANKS!!!

My google had 2 blue lights on and would not answer me. I had tried to reset it, but it seems my particular device does not have that capability. While I was listening to you, I unplugged it at the mains for 15 seconds. Plugged it back in again and voila - my google started working straight away! So thank you.

My Home mini is not doing a single thing to indicate it has any life! I will try your contact number though..... Before I went to contact them I did what some of you said and that was pulling out the cord to the outlet x 10 times. OMG! it worked! It was as dead as any thing with no light at all, nothing for days! No connection at all for days! So.......Thank you because I find most times trying to remedy anything through customer service is a waste! I always check KZfaq when I have trouble with anything! I actually shocked this worked because it appeared it was totally dead. I actually thought that a thunderstorm that went through here knocked it out but............ VOILA!!!!

Does anyone know if the unplug-plug method works for the newer Mini Nest speaker? That one does not have a dedicated reset button and mine will not respond to any touch, voice, and it’s not recognized in the app... as of now I can’t do anything at all with it >:(

Hi I live in Canada I have a Google mini and today it is acting up I put it to factory set up but the orange lights will not go off it keeps telling me that the speaker is turned off in the meanwhile the speaker is turned on those orange lights will not leave I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in what could be wrong with it I don’t wanna have to buy a new one I am on a pension are you is it for medication purposes it tells me what times to take everything now I am messed up can’t use it now
