Now I have no excuse to keep procrastinating. Time to replant mine. It's gigantic 😮

Snake plants love small pots and being bound. Id say its not a big worry unless you literally cant hold it up anymore!

Out of all my plants my snake plant is doing the best. It showed me it was time to repot by killing leaves to make more room. I repotted it and it's doing much better.

I delicately set up a vase I broke in the living room and it wasn’t moved and discovered broken until 6 years later when I was a junior in highschool.

Or it's leaning towards its source of light. Very common misconception is that sanseverias enjoy low to no light which is incredibly incorrect. Yes they can tolerate medium to lower light but the foliage will begin to stretch, loose its density, and color variegation and eventually lead to death of the plant. The more light, the faster and healthier growth you will aquire. These varieties easily grow well over 6+ft. Give her alot of BRIGHT indirect sunlight, or direct morning sunlight only (afternoon and evening sun will burn tf out of them) and proper soil and pot size. And no I don't mean that bs miracle grow, that's like giving someone who has lung cancer a pk of cigarettes. My personal favorite mix is foxfarm ocean forest, great quality and I pay less than $13 for 3 cubic feet, horticultural chunky charcoal, super chunky horticultural perlite, and organic lava rock. Terracottas are a great option for those who over water since that shitt absorbs excess water the plant doesn't need

I agree and thanks for the help on what to plant in. This video listed causes and reasons but not really a solution of what to actually do. I guess loosely staked?

Hello, I watch you and really enjoyyour advice, you have been such a huge help. But I am missing or can not find the information I am needing. Can you take a snake plant from soil to water? Will this be okay? What steps do I need to take to ensure survival?

Mine blooms 2-3x a year. As we speak, too. Its about 50 yrs old. Was my grandma's. Heavy as hades. Has lived in Memphis, OK, KY and TN. Outside from May til early Oct with my 30+ yr old night-blooming cereus and Madagascar palm. Happy trio. Oh, my aloe is 3.5 ft wide and 2 ft tall. 4 mothers. 45 lb pot. 20 yrs old? About to break up the aloe family next week.

I've never seen a snake plant in bloom before and would love to see what the flowers look like. Could you post a photo of your snake plant in bloom on here please????? Also do you live in a hot climate as Im wondering if I should my snake plant out for the rest of the summer. I'm in London UK and the weather the whole of July has been wet and not above 20C 😊

Interesting, my snake plant grew a lot, but several of the leaves got limp. I thought it came from overwatering and decreased watering-- no change. When I decided to repot, I realized that there were 3 plants inside the one pot AND the roots for each were so small. I potted them into 3 separate pots. Any advice for the limp, bent over leaves?

Mine is so heavy I need a dolly to move “Jake” away from its home… it was damaged during my move to the condo by a fall and new shoots have grown but the older parts experienced the trauma and continue to droop.

Mine is HUGE, it’s at least four feet tall and old as hell. I repotted it this summer and it still isn’t able to fully stand straight.
