How to fix a radiator to a stud wall

Fixing a radiator to a stud wall can be difficult, but it is possible using the correct plasterboard fixings. In this video I use snaptoggles to fix a small radiator to a plasterboard partition. If you decide to use another fixing to fix to the drywall please ensure you use a heavy duty fixing which will ensure the radiator never moves or works loose. Another good tutorial mate. You are really championing these snap toggles and to be fair from what I have seen they seem sh*t-hot! I have going to have a look around on the internet to get some prices, they are the sort of thing to have handy just in case. Cheers U.H. Regards. N.

I recall seeing a bag of these somewhere,and like those centre drills,i didnt have a clue what they were at the time! Everydays a schoolday...!

I see you kept the black square bracket protector on the rad when you hung in on the wall brackets. Was there a reason for this, as I thought they were just transit packaging?

We don't use these at all in Australia, but now I know how to fix one to a wall 😜

Nice work. Those snap toggles do look the part. A little bit pricey. My old tutor at college taught us the way of the radiator brackets. Spent hours explaining to us the way of the world as seen from a radiator brackets eyes lol. For double convector rads the short side of the bracket is used for a single the longer side. Of course you can use what you like!

thank for converting these to inches as well as metric - I'll never understand why the USA refuses to go metric, I had to learn both in school and used to be GOOD at conversions - but that was EONS AGO....
