This is a step by step Diagnosis and how to reset the ABS VSC Break warning lights in 2004 to 2009 Toyota Prius.
If you get the error codes C1203 and C1345, please watch the video to the end.

If this doesn't work, please check your brake fluid level. It was actually my problem and, thank God, just by adding some fluid all the lights went off.

Thanks. I had the same issue. Added some brake fluid, and all the warnings were gone. Unfortunately, brake fluid was leaking because of drums replacement. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/f7qTe7mhvJOReYk.html

Most cars if not leaking brake fluid when the fluid level goes to the low mark you are due for a brake change. If the brakes are not worn then you have a fluid leak somewhere. Hope this helps.

Guys make sure you check your speed sensor is clean and the dust caliper is installed correctly. That’s what caused my lights after a bearing change.

Thank you. Yes, dusty speed sensor is one of the causes for the brake lights to come on but without significant loss to braking. If it is hard to brake, there might be other underlying issue. Thanks.

@@Avesuccess Do you feel any failure, hardness of the brake pedal when you try to stop?I would start first with testing your 12V battery.

@@RealNoor my 2005 has only the ABS and the brake lights on. Fluid level is fine, braking feels normal. There are no oddball sounds, no beeping noises etc. But I cannot seem to clear the problem. Start battery had went dead and was replaced, also a refurbished battery pack was installed approximately 3 months prior to this issue

@@fbsocialsitesecrets Have you tried the reset process at the beginning of this video? Jumping the pins of the OBD as shown?

Had the same problem with no codes. It came on out of nowhere. I did the hole procedure seems it was the 12 volt battery terminals needed a good cleaning. I think it helped to reset by disconnecting battery for a few minutes. Of course check the brake fluid level before pulling everything out of cargo area. Then go to this procedure.

I recently had new tires and an alignment check. After which the (!) l, ABS, VCS, and BRAKE lights came on and won’t clear. CODE C1203 and C1345 The tire shop’s scan tool can’t calibrate, and the dealership wants $192 to be calibrated if it can’t it’s still $192. I’d rather put that money toward a scan tool that can calibrate. What is the tool you used, or do you have any other suggestions, and maybe an appropriate cost for the tool.

I used LAUNCH Tech X.431 Torque. There may be other other LAUNCH units that could do the calibration. This a starting point to compare their features.

This is exactly what happened to me. I got new tires this past December and a few weeks ago, those 3 lights came on. Its not my brake fluid because that's still halfway full. I took my car to an auto store yesterday and their code reader couldn't find any issues with my engine, etc. Ugh, I don't want to spend $200 if I don't have to.

Hello. I’m in north hollywood.my prius has the same error codes. however, a mechanic here said that the problem is not related to calibration and that it costs $900. What can I do?Can you help me? Thanks.

Hey I wish I could I am so far away from you. Has the mechanic done the diagnosis and determine exactly what the problem is if this process doesn't work then your ABS module is probably gone bad and if he has already done that test and that's what i he determined then he needs to give you his diagnosis and exactly what he thinks is wrong with it not just that it'll cost you $900 so what is it that he feels the car needs then maybe once I know that I might be able to help.

Sir when you reset the memory in special function .then this codes are coming in scanner. Is that trick works

Kareem, if the code comes back after clearing it in special function, the may still work. If it does not work you will know for sure that the ABS module needs replacement.

I agree. This guy might be able to use a code scanner with extra options but the video quality is extremely poor. Maybe take lessons on making video before taking a video. I don't know.

How do you diagnose on the screen? I've reset my daughter's dash lights and they keep coming back on. No brake trouble or low fluid.

@@RealNoor hey man. I thought you were referring to the screen in the car. I ordered a USB OBD2 adapter so o can try techstream. I read the abs codes from the flashing lights and attempted to recalibrate the linear solenoid valve offset. No luck though. Hopefully I can redo the full Toyota bleed procedure with my laptop when it arrives. The pedal trick definitely clears the abs codes. The valve offset code just comes back immediately. There's a manual way to start the calibration procedure by jumping pins 4 and 12 instead of 4 and 13 and putting the car into "on" but not "ready" while not touching the brakes or anything else and with the steering wheel perfectly centered. This process failed on my car though.

@@ahdziz666 I know the bottle neck in that pre=ocess of jumping Pin 4 to 13 is the dead center setting requirement for the steering. Let me know how it does once you get do the bleed process with techsteam.
