This video was helpful in inspiring me to fix it, but once I did I realized that it's missing some critical information. For starters, you need a T15 sized Torx screwdriver to remove the plastic cover and get access to the handle/clip. Next, the product he links to from Amazon is far from perfect. It was such a struggle to get the pin through both sides of this 3rd party product. I had to use a mallet to get it to go through one of the 2 holes, then passed it through multiple times until it was loose enough to work. Lastly, there is another spring at the back of the armrest you should know about...as the plastic cover you originally remove holds it into place. Once the cover is off, the entire top of armrest is not fastened into place and will fly off. That said, appreciate that you made it at all.
