They need to separate RTTS and DD go back to the old way

Thank you for the fix, it's been a pain trying to figure out what was happening. I noticed also if you have more than one load out, you better switch it in the clubhouse, trying to go back to back games and switch loadouts in the small menu won't switch it.

The show did such a bad job explaining all this. Just learned about the programs, my player is already in august of the season. And all my program missions are still at zero. The show blew this game launch Update: this worked for me thanks man!

Bro I had no clue this was a thing.. first time playing and I’ve put in hourssssssssssss to only be 58. Had no clue about program and all that, and sure enough, had nothing tracking. Big thanks for this!

So does this also work for pitching and such? Because I’m playing my RTTS player as a starting pitcher, so I want to know if doing this same process, if doing like a quick inning or on the mound in Diamond Dynasty will do the same thing and help me progress.

I have to play some dumb moments before I can manage my team... This is really frustrating

Turn off base running opportunities in the mode specific options and do not simulate anything. That fixed it for me in Rtts. I have always simulated base running. Maybe simulating opportunities breaks the game.

Ahh gotta love being in August of my second year and it says I have two appearances my issue is the show severs keep going down so i cant even check my program.

Bruh, as an Xbox player...I've been so hyped for RTTS....& it's been nothing but miserable hell for me 🤦🏻‍♂️ been playing 2 straight days, my overall is 56, still in double A. I've been switching loadout perks to boost my overall but nothing is working. Difficultly is on dynamic right now. Does it matter if I lower/raise the difficulty?? I'm just trying to move up lol

Quick question does equipment that boosts your stats on your rtts player transfer to DD?

Yay finally someone explains it

Additional steps that have been helping me continue below. I have progressed 10 games in a row after doing more than just what this says, including one game as pitcher. Both loadouts progressed accurately. I am afraid to quit the game and test that it works again, so I am gonna ride this will it's working and will edit/comment after I try to repeat the process. Do the DD one at bat technique as soon as you log on, and then... 1. Go back into RTTS, hit the BACK button (double square looking small button on xbox) that brings up a column of options on the left side of the screen. 2. Go to inbox. Right bumper to settings. Last setting is "missions." Make sure this is on. 3. optional - check your rtts progression numbers that are stuck and write them down. 4. Play a game, but DO NOT EVER use the "sim to next appearance" option, whether it's the option that comes up after each play along with the "watch whole game" option, or the one in the pause menu with the 6 tabs at the top. a. after each at bat, if not on the bases, let it go to the screen with the lineups that show you each at bat. Hit B to skip to your next appearance. 5. Go back to club house after each game. Not sure if this matters, but it's what I am doing. Haven't tried to duplicate this, yet as I am gonna keep playing as long as it works.

I’m having trouble with sluggish spark plug. I got 4 doubles in a series and it didn’t count the extra base hits but it did count them as regular hits. I thought I knew baseball but is a double no longer considered an extra base hit?

How often do you get the training like batting cage cause mine only gives me one every like month and also does the sim season rank you higher

I have a question:.. I’m using the same archetype as you the primary first base... but it says my secondary position is SP... you have like the whole infield as your secondary I can only play at first or pitcher. How can I change this?

Great video and it works for my LF, but my secondary is pitcher and I'm not getting program progress on the days I pitch. On the days I pitch do I I have to go back into DD and put my player in the rotation? That would be a pain but, I need to progress my pitcher as well.

Hey for me the problem seems to be that all my equipment items weren't the same once I made sure they were all the same for each load out it worked fine

Does it work if you go straight into DD or do you have to run a game in RTTS where it doesn't count and then go into DD?

if im trying to level up the archetypes as fast as possible should i be doing 2 way playing or should i set it up one way, and make hitters and pitchers one at a time, or should i work on both archetypes at the same time?

I have Joe Random and not my player. It also says there is a ballplayer conflict every time i start up. Any fix for that?

Will it backdate plate appearances? I am guessing no. Have a Sparkplug RF have played over 25 games and am leading AA in batting average. Looks like I wil have to start all over.

Im having a problem where I can't switch archetypes between games... I press a different archetype for my pitchers after I player second base then the game after im starting pitcher... even tho I select pitcher archetype it won't switch over...

does this work if you have multiple loadouts? (one for hitting, one for pitching)

If you want to play as a RF or LF can you still get progress as Sparkplug? I have zero interest in playing infield and it appears that only Speed is available as primary. This version has become a mess, was much more fun on ps3 years ago.

mine wont progress, cause im a catcher.. changed my position but it still says im a starting pitcher.. so all my season progress is pitching stuff .. shouldnt that change when changing position?

When im in the home screen before i select road to the show it says im a 65 on the top left but when i go to road to the show it says im a 60, doesnt make sense

This sadly doesn’t work anymore, I’ve tried it 4 times in a row now with no success. You always have to back out after a game now In order for progress to be made :(

What does the repeatable mean? is it not just 24 straight apparences? because mine went back down to 4/24

my player doesn’t show up in diamond dynasty. Also in diamond Dynasty he shows as a relief pitcher but when you look at his card it says starting pitcher and his overall is 55 but if you go into road to the show he is a starting pitcher and he is level 60 so I have no idea what’s going on.

How do u get programs going I have played like 50 games and still 0 progress?

Dude I Kidd you not.. I followed your advice on adding your created player to the dynasty squad and I did play one plate appearance and then quit the game.. However, I did receive an award for quitting the game so early, lol.. But to actually get to my point.. Just by playing that one plate appearance...I have officially began the progress stage. I started with zero when in reality I really had way more than that but after taking your advice and doing only 1 plate appearance.. I now have 11 of 24 plus additional increases. So just let everyone know that you only need to do one plate appearance after adding your player to the Dynasty group then go back to The Road to the Show and you're good to go.

Can I open the pack whrr we never I unlock it or do I have to keep grinding to get everything upgraded ?

SO basically, if you character is active on the DD squad and you do an at baat with him, it will trigger the RTTS progress? Or you have to keep repeating the same process.

ok so i got the 100 points needed to get the silver archetype but it won’t let me upgrade my player? maybe i’m doing something wrong?

Question. Yeah Not sure if you read this but my rtts guy is a 76 overall. I put him on my DD team and he is reading a 65. Is this a visual glitch or are none of my loadout counting? It’s reading as if my silver spark plug or perks aren’t on my guy in DD. They are when I go back into rtts. I can’t find an answer anywhere. Someone please help.

I am a CF for the Mets I am currently in Triple A and I need to know if I should make a new player I am in my 4th season and have basically played every game and every spring training with the Mets but the Mets now have a 99 Cody Bellinger at CF a 96 Aaron Judge at RF and I don't know what I should be please someone give me some tips on what I should do. are you having to do this every time you turn on the game? i just noticed i havent got a single program and i already finished AA, AAA and almost to the end of MLB after getting called up in september almost through the first season really sucks , they need to patch this and give us credit for what we have missed not hard for it to look on our character stat sheet to pull the information.

someone help for some reason even though i told the coach i’m a two way player (SS and pitcher) he put me at LF and i get subbed out every game in the first inning so i can’t play. i’m in AAA btw
