Thanks a lot, I honestly thought it wouldn't work but it really did, it was an annoying type of stick drift where you would move the analog stick and it would move it left constantly and now its fixed. This helped a lot.

Omg it works. I was about to buy another controller because my right stick was going crazing. Pushing up or down in game without my input. I tested it on my most drifted games and so far no issues! Was also about to open it for cleaning damn, I might break it. You saved me $$ sir! Subscribed!

I dropped a little (not a lot) isopropyl alcohol on the "ball" part of the stick while the stick was held to the either side. Then move the stick around in a circle and mixing up the direction of your rotations every 4 or 5 rotations or so (or to your liking). I had to do this a couple times before it was fixed, allowing the alcohol sufficient time to evaporate before starting a new "set of rotations".

All right I just have to comment. I'm an electronic repair technician who specializes on video game consoles. I've not yet messed with a ps5 controller because based on the ps4 dualshocks, I know replacing those joysticks can be a pain. I was going to take a crack at it though so I start here. Chad says pull the stick back and blow in it. I roll my eyes, yea sure but okay. I'll try all the steps in order until I get to the solution I 'know' is going to be required (Joystick replacement). So I blow in the thing and holy shit it works. I'm like no way. I intentionally start trying to cause the original issue again. Rocking the stick violently. Pressing on it harder than should be pressed on it. No drift. I'm literally sitting here stunned and dumbfounded. Thanks, a lot for the vid man!
