Grinder blade may break and cause fatal damage to people standing near. if it struck between that bumper. Using a grinder for Grinding or cutting a plastic or carbon fiber material the friction will melt the material and tries to grab the grinder blade as a result the blade will split in parts and cause fatal injury.

You need to use the type of mesh tape with adhesive on one side to enable it to stick to the surface so that it doesn't move all around as the epoxy is being applied. Optimally you can use fiberglass cloth. Otherwise you can use spray glue on the tape. Then you can apply the epoxy with a stiff, disposable brush instead of a stick to work it into the contours. You also must mix the Bondo/hardener with wiping strokes and not by whipping or stirring because that introduces air bubbles into the Bondo mix. But overall an excellent job.

Love watching a pro do their thing. Great video for the lay person. Extremely thorough and detailed instructions as well as tips and tricks that will certainly give me the confidence to tackle my second bumper repair. The first one was before KZfaq and turned out being a mess and a complete failure. Not to mention that I bought so much more of everything than I needed. I ultimately just took a hacksaw to the damn thing so that it wasn’t dragging on the road and called it a day. Thank you for taking the time to share this!

No need to drill any holes anywhere there are better techniques if you think about it,,,,. Where was the flexible paint additive,,,,. Bondo is not flexible,,, you will have at least $250 in materials,,, 12 hours of Labor over the course of 3 days,,,. If you have the Sanders the air compressors and the spray guns,,,. If you lean on it or bump it you'll have to do it again within a year,,,,

Excellent work guys. I would suggest to be sure to use fiberglass tape as reinforcement as opposed to vinyl tape. Vinyl is used for drywall here in the U.S.. Fiberglass tape is harder to find but is offered by body shop suppliers.

That is an ignorant comment. If it looks good, and is structurally strong, it is fine. Check CarFax anyhow. You get ripped off through ignorance.
