@garry i was thinking that when i use two gyro on the same ev3 it will happen but it was just my illusion, since when i plug the other one it will slightly vary and start drifting

Thank you so much! I have had such a problem with the gyro, and now it's fixed! I had to convert it into Scratch which made it a little harder, but it works! Thank you!!!!

Is there a way to do this in ev3 classroom? I am trying to figure it out and having a lot of trouble.

I tried out this idea and have been using it for a while with my previous teams and it has been working great. This year I tried out this program but after running it once, it stopped working and I'm guessing the ev3 became immune to it because it no longer works. How can i stop that from happening? The gyro has been drifting every 2 days and is drifting really bad. Our competition is on Tuesday, do you have any ideas or solutions?

Did you figure out a solution? Did updating the EV3 firmware make this fix stop working?

Couldnt you simply use a wait block in front of the initial gyro block? maybe for a couple seconds so you have time to put it down so its perfectly still? or does it base its measurement off when the program starts regardless of the gyro block being called?
