Thank you! Had the screen freeze today on my 2022 Explorer. The dealership said I needed to leave the car with them all day so they could diagnose and order parts if necessary. You’d think they would tell me to try this first as it’s no big secret. You saved me the hassle of leaving my car and I will be calling the service mgr to let him know that I’m a little pissed off.

Yes!!! Thank you so much!!! Mine wasn’t frozen, just opposite. It was randomly flashing on different options, changing radio stations, changing temp control and fan, flashing the navigation map, and Siri asking questions.

Save my from being late to an event.! Car had a bike rack hanging over rear collision assist and I couldn’t backup without turning it off via the Sync menu, which was inaccessible due to the frozen screen. I was literally trapped in my own driveway! Thanks again

so for those who want to fix this permanently, you have to go into settings and default to original factory settings, Chose NOT to connect to the internet for updates and chose NOT to connect to Ford Pass. Your screen will never freeze again. THANKS FORD

Thanks this partially worked at least it unlocked the unsubscribed message from my screen which was blocking me from accessing any channels now I can at least scroll through channels and hopefully receive the reset code from SiriusXM.
