Making your PC use more energy has nothing to do with freeing up resources. So why that was in there, I don't know. And if you want to select all your files in a folder, press Ctrl+A.

I thought I told people Ctrl+A no?

Ehm, there are a few issues with this video in my opinion, the advice given is incorrect or incomplete, you're advising people to turn a bunch of things off willy nilly without explaining what they are or what happens when you disable them, and your free space advise is hilarious since it takes no account of how much space one has in total to begin with nor how a computer is used. You might as well say that ideally people should have at least a terabyte of free space. There is a minimum advisable but it's not an arbitrary number, rather - one should not have less than about RAM x2 free, as that may lead to serious issues if there is a crash and a memory dump occurs, or should occur. That may lead to zero available on the boot drive which is a world of hurt, the easiest way to get out of being to rip the drive out and plug it in and clean up on another PC. The services you are telling people to disable aren't there to annoy people and slow their computer down either. I used to at times do IT work professionally, and if a user came to me with PC issues and said they had followed some random persons advise on youtube to disable a bunch of stuff they didn't know what it was, my advice to them as step 1 would be to undo everything they had done, reboot and check if they still have issues, and if yes - reinstall windows. Very rarely do professionals have the time and interest to try and find out what creative ways someone has found to interfere with or cripple the normal functionality of the OS. I think you are trying to help people, but I do think it would be good to caveat your advise and also explain what the effect of the changes you suggest is but not only in the positive, also in the 'negative' in the sense of what the functionality is that you are disabling. This is just my opinion, but it is based on many years of experience in techsupport as well as working as a software developer creating services for windows among other things. Not meant as bragging but as telling where I'm coming from on this. I would say the same about modifying cars, or any other complex system.

Ok, I take your points onboard about explaining the steps in more detail 👍 not to flex also I have worked with PC's for over 30 years both in professional and personal capacity. I wouldn't give anyone any advice about cars as I know nothing about them 👍
