Once I was drilling on my wall to fix curtains and by mistake I drilled on one of the water pipe lines. I fixed it myself using the m-seal, 4 years have passed and I haven't faced any problem.

My carpenter did that too. He drilled into the water main feeding the bathroom and pressured water gotinto his drill , shocked that dude and flooded the kitchen. Had to fill the hole with mseal and it has been 11 years. Since then. No damp or leak

Request to all plumbers: Next time onwards, please cut the wall from the other side. This will keep the bathroom tiles intact. Other side can be easily painted or covered by a calendar.

No need to break so many tiles. Just use a rivet and rivet gun. Aluminium rivets can perfectly fix such accidentally drilled holes which cause pipe leakages.

These things keep on happening to all expats staying abroad in rental places. There are two methods. For through holes and for 1 sided holes. It seems that by posting this video you are finding out what possible ways are there to attend to such situations. Solution 1: for one sided holes is: Jugad by riveting. Also depends on the size of the drill. Solution 2: for large size holes or through holes. Here you need to stop supply of water in system by closing off the main valves. (Usually performed by late night). Need to buy a few expensive tools and and a steady hand. I don't know weather you get it in your country market, but there are tool kits for plastic welding.

(1 tile space so you can post welding or after you are convinced that it's sealed properly apply cement and place 1 tile. But not required to search entire piping line.

Depends upon the material of pipe. Here it is plastic. Solution 1: Use a pipe encirclement sleeve. And then perform welding to form a perfect lap joint. Solution 2: As shown by them in the link shared. Perform spot welding to seal holes. As a good practice I recommend to put pipe encirclement sleeve after performing spot welding on repaired portion. Don't be offended, as a plumber you did a good job and have taken a video of such repair and posted for all. Usually when it happens to you 😂 while putting some bathroom fixtures in a foreign country without the owner knowing, the best solution is riveting.

How can you say the hole is crossed the pipe and look back side is electrical switch board... Therefore we shouldn't take risk this is the best way to repair the hole repair work okk....we don't do temporary remarkable work ...we did professional work...long service
