My problem is NO networks at all will show. Not one. Can't just be my connection being faulty because I live in apartments and I should normally have like 7-10 networks listed at all times. But when I go to internet settings there's nothing.

Brand new OLED Switch and it won't connect no matter what troubleshooting I did. Old switch connects to wifi so it's not my connection. Why does Nintendo have such shit quality control? I wish I could punch all the board of directors right on their nose.

I did not find this method to work. But I cleared all of my known networks and then was able to connect. A lot of troubleshooting ideas. Hope this helps someone.

This is my 2nd oled and I cannot get this bullish to work. It connects to the internet but every time I try and transfer data it won’t work or disconnects

Even though you're switch is off the Nintendo switch OLED dock is it faster with the ethernet cord to the router box and is it necessary to use the ethernet cord to hook up to the Internet is not like the regular Nintendo switch instant hooking it up to the Internet this is so different and I'm so intrigued by it the OLED model only because of that nice backside rarrr lol 🤣

Dude you saved me from having to use my warranty and having to redownload all my games lol. Two thumbs way up. It would connect to WiFi but within only like six or so feet away. Was getting upset cause I have an old Switch that would connect just fine. I suggest anyone having this issue watch this video first and enter DNS settings manually like he did. Big ups pimp.

My issue with not connecting to wifi, ended up being my router had it blocked for some reason. So you might want to check that setting on router.

im unable to do the first step, i can't change second dns. i have tried everything but it wont work again. it lost battery and thus shut down. i have reset it and everything but it wont work and i get the same code. i know that something happend at nintendo where you couldn't wirelessly connect, but for me it said on the website they fixed like 1 or 2 days ago but i still have the error and it never appeared until the thing at nintendo. I followed the tutorial and multiple others i went on support sites and diffrent websites, i tried everything but none of it worked. HEY GUYS, WANTED TO POST MY FIX HERE - I have an OLED switch and the issue I had (which is very common among this model) is below👇 ➡️‼️NO WIFI NETWORKS WILL APPEAR ON THE INTERNET CONNECTION SCREEN‼️⬅️ (even if there are local wifi networks currently available) ⬇️No more wasting your time, here’s the fix⬇️ (THIS IS NOT AN ETHERNET METHOD, THOUGH YOU WILL NEED ONE TO GET YOUR SWITCH TO BE ABLE TO WIRELESSLY CONNECT AGAIN) Do yourself a favor and grab an Ethernet cable (if you don’t already have one and plug in your OLED switch. Once it’s plugged in, finish connecting to your network. Then test your switches capability to connect to Wifi wirelessly. In my case, this reactivates the wireless chip within the switch like flipping a, well, a switch lol. Connect to your home network, let the wifi run for a bit and then try to switch over to wireless and it should work like a miracle every time. Avoid turning the power off completely on your switch or leaving it inactive for large periods of time. Hope this helps. Good luck. Explanation - The issue seems to be due to an internal chip within the Switch’s motherboard malfunctioning/deactivating - meaning you’d have to send it to Nintendo to get fixed. We all know this is the least convenient fix since the turnaround time is ridiculous and your data will be wiped since you can’t connect to the Wifi to upload it or transfer it. I hope this method helps anyone in need, and just a heads up it’s not permanent. You may need to repeat as necessary.

I have a question. So my OLED when I turn it on and click a game to play , it brings up a message saying that it can't verify my account since it's not hooked up to the internet. My problem is that I set it to connect automatically to my wifi which has the correct password but every time I turn on my OLED I always have to go into the settings and manually connect to the internet!! What can I do to fix this?

Sooo. None of these worked for me, but I found out a solution, for those out there experiencing difficulty still after all these steps try this, hard reset your router, hold reset button down for life 15 sec, i did this, it reset my router name and password back to it's original, then I was able to instantly connect. Give it a try it might work. 🤷🏿‍♂️. If your original router name and password is not on the back of it simply call your cable or internet company.

I Don’t have a oled model I have a v1 switch with I did was clear the settings for my wifi I was trying to connect to and then reconnect and it worked I hope this helps you guys
