Brilliant! Thank you. I right clicked the volume icon on the task bar to discover the 'Sound Troubleshooter' which resolved the problem which struck out of nowhere. I never knew this facility existed.

Thanks a bunch. It was the "Volume Mixer" Mozilla Firefox was muted when I checked it as you suggested. Why was it muted? IDK. But thanks a lot. I became sooo happy when I heard KZfaq again.... Thanks!

Thank God I found this video .. Bought a Predator Helios 300 just a few months back and I suddenly thought my speakers and my hphone jack went faulty.. was almost gonna cry but than I changed the "enhancement" settings and it started working.. Kudos to you broh

in the laptop, if I use a USB PNP device sound and video work normally but if I plug out the PNP device sound stops, and video play like X0.25 speed. help me with this.

I have a toshiba z40-a laptop. From after motherboard replacement i have no sound. I have tried all options and nothing but when i use bluetooth i hear sound. I change the headphone jack board and volume speakers and still nothing. I tried downgrading windowd from windowd 20h2 to 1909 nothing. Then i tried installing windows 8.1 nothing. Idl what is the issue can anyone help me please ? Also i tried linux mint to see if windows was not good and still no sound from speakers and headphones

Hello, can you please help/ point out which problem I have. In the Audio channel of Hearing in Settings, the change device volume shows that my volume is 100%, but with the muted icon, and I can't unmute it. When I change my output device into speaker, it shows the same thing. My headphones output does not have the problem of a muted icon, only the speaker does. But overall there is no sound coming from my laptop whatsoever. If it helps, my laptop is of a Windows 10 version. Thank you for any help!

And no, I did not tinker any settings before encountering this problem. I thought it was just a bug, because my laptop isn't that new anymore and it will has problems where the audio is buggy and sounds like radio sounds, other times the screen will be flashing continuously before blacking out for undetermined amount of time. Then if I'm lucky it will turn normal again for a little while. These two problem only occurs when I'm using Zoom (sus), but I was able to fix it by turning the laptop into sleep mode, and turn it back on again. But this audio problem I can't fix by that way. Please help me if you can. Thank you

I have had a problem for months om my laptop where it doesn't play any sound at all I've tried all of the fixes and it still doesn't work, something happened to it a few months ago when I plugged in headphones to watch KZfaq videos without bothering others and the sound just disappeared instantly didn't even go through the headphones and now I am stuck here with a laptop that can't play nor record audio in anyway
