just installed a new windows update... all my audio is gone.. even this won't help. Windows updates are worse than viruses.

Omg thank you so so much. Everyone else was saying to Uninstal the driver but it wasn't the issue. Omg finally. I was playing final fantasy and the sound just completely disappeared for hours. Finally I can go to bed.

I have a issue, when it comes to pressing AVCTP service, it doesnt show me the options, it just shifts me to properties and information about the AVCTP service. I press slowly but it still stays the same without giving me audio options.

Guys listen .. 😊😊 Just press. ( Window + R ) And Search for ( msconfig ) press enter and Select ( Normal Startup )then click apply and restart your PC . Problem Solve 😮😮😅😅🎉

Started working after i went to playback settings selected headphone clicked on advanced clicked on 2channel 24 bit 48000hz then Test. I wasted my hour trying to re-start n all but finally this above step helped in two minutes Thank u

if this doesn't work please download DRIVER DOWNLOADER from internet and install it you can find the missing driver and can be reinstalled in no time

1- device manager 2- system devices 3- Intel R Smart sound technology... Audio Controler 4- update driver 5- browse my computer for drviers 6- let me pick from a list of available drivers in my computer 7- High definition audio controler

My issue is unique , when i plug in my ar phones during any work in my laptop they wont be detectd , if keep restart th laptop by inserting the Earphones then it will work. Kindly suggest what to do?

Well what worked for what seems everyone else here did not work for me. The reason I believe is an audio endpoint problem that effects the jacks of the audio outputs. I have internal audio that plays only through the on-board tiny speakers embedded in the PC tower. But will not send audio to the outputs amplified. Thanks anyway as this is great for what you show here though not my issue.

Hi, how do i exactly set default the speakers? mine only says realtek digital audio output after we resetted the pc, the speakers isn't working anymore even tho it's plugged. I also tried updating the drivers but nothing seems to work need help pls
