There are many ways, but this is a alternative way to fix a bolt that needs replacing

Probably should’ve used a lock nut to secure the bolt, but this should be fine

JB would be ok but you want to clean up the area with perhaps a dremel and then clean with the area with mineral spirits, etc. Give JB about 48 hours for this task.
