I have a 2020 model year Kohler 7000 series 22HP engine That looks very similar to this. It has almost the identical fuel pump setup (my fuel pump just looks different, operates the same) And I am having this exact problem. The intake area in front of the Venturi for the carburetor fills up with gasoline until the engine is running so rich it chokes out. I have replaced the carburetor, I have rebuilt the replaced carburetor and it's the same. I'm wondering if this has been my problem the entire time. My symptoms were rough idling until the engine completely stalled. I would have to slowly creep up on the throttle otherwise it would choke out. Once at high RPM it would run a little rougher than it usually does, but it would stay running. Once I returned it to idle it would stay there for maybe 2 minutes, and then choke out. I ran the engine without the air filter on it and came to the realization that the fuel was building up in front of the Venturi in the air filter cup. Hope this helps somebody

Put a tube in it. The hub will rust out. AND a mess for tire replacement.
@MurphyMower17 сағат бұрын
That is not my experience. I use this and it worked in a tire for a few years later I decided to change the tire. I simply drilled a hoe in the rubber let it drain out and when I took the tire off, and there was no rust. Thanks for watching

Nice find. I may have to pick up a sleeve hitch. I have a few Craftsman PYT9000s and a Cub Cadet 2554 and a 2166. I may put it on the 2166 because it eats through belts while mowing, so I'm going broke using it as a beater mower. It may become the "work" machine. Any thoughts what sleeve to get?
@MurphyMower9 күн бұрын
The craftsman sleeve hitches are fairly common. You could usually find those on marketplace as the ones identified as Murray hardly ever see them.
@MikeOrazzi9 күн бұрын
@@MurphyMower I've seen the Craftsman used for a couple of hundred used. I just bought a new Elitewill off ebay for $150. So hopefully I can get that to work on one of my machines.
