The only outstanding issue that I've had with this board is that when installing 32GB of DDR4, you can no longer activate the XMP profile. I had to manually tune it and the highest I was able to achieve was 2999Mhz on 3200Mhz (DOCP) modules (Teamgroup T-Force Delta R) on a Ryzen 5 2600X chip. I've since upgraded to a Ryzen 7 5800X and ordered another set of DDR4 to install, so we'll see what happens. Update: since installing the R7 5800X, problem has been solved. I'm not sure if it's the RAM limitation to the 2600X, but the upgrade was welcome.

I have a ryzen 1600, asus b350m-a and msi 1070 oc. been using it for 1-2 yrs with 2400mhz ram just fine. today i installed that ram, enabled xmp after realizing that it had to be overclocked to 3200mhz and i keep on getting blue screens after getting into windows

Yeah I had issues when upgrading from a msi b450 gaming plus motherboard ordered the strix b450f and after set up I noticed my computer was very slow and would sometimes crash showing a orange light on mobo . Flashing So this let me know it was a ram issue. I passed it off as not to much of a issue as pc would still run and let me play games on my days off work it would so this just when it would have high ram loads say loading a game every once in a while it would crash / black screen fans would spin at 100% and I had to swith of pc from wall So I went into Bois and put this setting on as I seen it from another video . As I was having my ram stay at 2133 And pc worked for about 3 weeks all be it very slow didnt feel like ram speeds wer fixed . So I overclocked the ram to 3000mhz the stock speed of my corsair lpx 16g ( this was done I rysen master ) and i got a black screen . Noticing after a bit of trouble shooting i noticed ryzen master sets ram speed for each stick so I was telling it go to 6000mhz if I'm getting it right After this pc would not post i tried taking cmos battery out nothing tried ram in other slots nothing 1 ram stick also gave me nothing .I'm not too good with that sort of stuff with pcs i know how to build them and put it all together but not to good with overclocks and bios stuff . I checked my mobo to see eif my ram was compatible and if I looked right on the dowloaded list im 90% sure it said it was compatible . So I rebuilt the pc with old mobo and thing booted up first time and was able to overclock ram to 3200mhz on a ment to be worse mobo . If anyone can shed some light on what I may have done wrong that be great . I pretty much have the exact same build as the pc in the video just a slower ram speed . If I have bricked this mobo aww well . More for the future only been on pc for a short time after building my first one about 1 year ago Thanks

I have 4 16gb corsair vengeance pro rgb 3200 sticks in the b450 gaming f and can't run anything other than 2133mhz long term, if I try 2666 the system will boot but becomes unstable after a few minutes, if I follow what you did and let it auto set to the full speed of 3200 the system just beeps and won't post... any ideas on what I can do?

I have an ASUS ROG Strix B450-F mobo (original version not the gaming II) and 16GB CORSAIR Vengeance RGB Pro ram (CMW16GX4M2D3000C16) and tried this about a year ago setting it at 3000mhz which is the clock speed for the ram and it didn't work. My PC wouldn't even boot, so I just reverted it back to 2133 and forgot about it. I just remembered this and figured I should find a video about fixing it to see if there was a solution. Anyways I tried setting it to 3000mhz again and got the same result, failure to boot. Then I tried it again at 2800 and it worked. Still not the 3000mhz I paid for but its better than 2133. It's pretty dumb how one of the biggest mobo manufactures and one of the biggest RAM manufactures have this compatibility issue.

oh and also btw if you should read up on 1usmus ryzen ram tutorials. effectively if you plan to stay on 3200mhz look at his 31xx or 3466 recommendations for timings with your ram and cpu. very confusing stuff if youre not nerd hard core haha.

I've found that this works, kinda. Change the frequency to 3000 if you are using 32GB RAM, 4x8 sticks. I can't get it higher than that.

Hi, I have 4 pcs of ram w/2666 mHZ, but in only 3 pcs was running on 2666. if i put the 4 ram they will just run to 2133 mhz? then my pc wont boot, if i set the frequency to 2666 with 4 ram. btw we have same mobo ASUS ROG STRIX B450-F.....do you have any solutions?? TIA

I literely did what you did but it don't change to 3200mhz. I have corsair vengeance 2x8 and same mobo. I removed the mobo battery and placed it back in didn't worked. I tried 3000mhz didn't worked.

So I got a weird issue with my x370-f. The system is stable with 3200mhz when booted into windows. However, if I turn the pc off. The next boot will usually give me an orange led, which is dram problem. It will not post. To fix this, I have to either pull the power cord or battery. If that doesn't work, then I have to remove all the sticks of ram and insert 1. Then it will boot, after that I put the other stick in. This only happens when shutdown for an extended period of time. Has anyone had this issue??

im at oc ram is 3633. gskills f43600c18 (i bought the wrong ram actually becaues i originally had an x570 gigabyte but it messed up my ryzen 5 3600. =( but good tutorial man.!!

Ive go the same board board and 2 sticks of 3600mhz corsair if i only use 1 stick i can run a full speed but if i use both it drops back down and help

This works for 16GB of (2x8GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200MHz) Ram but I purchased another 2x8GB of the exact same ram and I cannot get it to run at 3200Mhz. It refuses to boot. I have to set memory Frequency to 2666 and then it will boot, but now my Ram obviously is still not 3200. Only 2666Mhz Any ideas what I can do to make it 3200 for all 4 sticks? It is driving me insane!
