That's a good technique but I found it easier to place the hook in the spool slot & then wind the spring inside the spool. There is a raised rim on the outer edge of the spool that will keep the spring from uncoiling. Like in your method. the spring will fight you as it gets tighter but go slow & it only takes about a minute or two.

Yes I just bought this dumb weather and used it.once and went to use it again and you could feel that the spring broke it is a campion weedeater every one said I have to buy another one my brother who lives out of state said I do not to look on a video I found yours thank you im going to see if I can do it thank you so much

I don't have the same Husqvarna mine just says Husqvarna professional my recoil is totally different I can't recoil this is really hard and annoying i have literally tried everything

The wife tried to start it up today, wouldn't start and then the line stopped , locked. Maybe the coil got broke.

There's me thinking I was a numpty not being able to rewind my coil. Maybe I need a special tool I thought. Now I'll just put a glove on and have another go.
