In our first Briefing Room video we show you how to make small scratches and blemishes on your AR15 disappear. Now we don't think scratches are bad and they build character, but if you have that favorite safe queen rifle that you want looking pristine, then this is for you.
Thanks for watching!

Put a big scratch on my brand new P30SK and this worked like magic. I couldn’t believe it. Usually I don’t care if my guns are scratched up, but it was a day old so I was kind of annoyed. Thank you for making this video!!

I agree with not really caring about the scratches, BUT, I gouged/scratched my lower when my punch slipped while installing the bolt catch release roll pin. Scratches and blemishes during use I can handle. During building/assembling, irks me for some reason. Thanks for the info, will be putting this to use before finishing my project.

Maybe late . But look up roll pinch punch startes very cheap ,basically a fatter punch with a cavity for the roll pin to be started . Also use some lube on the roll pin and it slides right in

Thank you so much! Not a safe queen guy, just new to owning an AR. Thought when I got marks on my lower from the dust cover that I bought a cheap gun with a poor finish. Now I have nothing to worry about. I'll keep the wear marks on.

Back when I used to hunt we always kept our rifles and shotguns in top shape and looking good. Now I'm learning to look at my ar like it's a tool and to treat it like it's a tool. As a retired electrician my tools show wear from many years of use. My ar goes from the safe to padded case to shooting range. I guess I haven't used it to its fullest capacity yet.

Cool tip but yeah... I've got a well used rifle and second upper that I won't be touching up. I would just end up putting more scratches in it. After all I have no plans of getting rid of it and I'm only 19 yet I've got 2000rds through it. I appreciate the info I'm looking to get into gunsmithing professionally.

If you could spot blast or rough the area it would blend better but a larger smooth spot you’ll notice a difference. For some of those larger machined areas I’ve had better success with a high grade aluminum epoxy paint. Brownells alumahyde II and then you could sponge it on with a swab or mask it and spray it.

Yeah I did something really stupid for some reason it look like my rifle was bent or something. Still being a rookie I decided to take the spring out and everything and then I put everything except the spring and closed it and then charged it well that was pretty then don't a little research I guess that ring where the buttstock is if you unscrew that and take the whole thing off you can take the bolt out of the gun I'm assuming. Now scratches I decided to use a channel lock and using a cloth wow that was pretty stupid again. Now you unscrew there's multiple pretty good amount of scratches. To the point that I do get a legit wrench I'm hoping this thing will come off and back on. Looks like maybe some chipping. I guess I didn't even get my channel lock pliers on the thingamajiggy. But I saw a video with this stuff and it made me wonder maybe this can at least black it out. Besides replacing this whole back side which I'm pretty sure that's not cheap. But yeah it should work honestly it's not going to smooth it out. What if it can make it less visible that's what but yeah pretty much an $800 paperweight at the present I seriously have to stop doing that did that to my pistol and they had to slap it like a redheaded stepchild. But yeah I guess for right now I'm just going to take a marker see if that might work. Okay temporary pause. I used a permanent marker and obviously it's not the same color as the gun but hey you don't see me silver anymore. But you can see the marker. Definitely going to have to get it fixed if I ever want to sell it though. But yeah outside of that I mean if it gets some scratches hey it happens. These were pretty significant gashes so you take a picture of it and that silver is really popping it's not horrible but it's definitely a don't do stupid crap dude lol.
