I know this is months away but maybe you already know but the hat press 360 IQ does have a release button and it’s on the touch display it’s next to the on & off symbol shows the 3 arrows going upward just in case you didn’t know. God Bless.

Great Video. Any tips on avoiding the press line I get sometimes where the crown meets the front panel? I often get a hard crease there. I have tried different size platens/pressures but it still can be an issue.

you using a 360 IQ? if not that type of hat press would help eliminate that, but I have seen people add foam underneath, but I have a silicone hat mat kit you can use in my tools section that might aid in helping with that issue on my website esentlprintsupply.com

How does the dtf hold up on the seam? Can the seam joepardize the overall application as opposed to it being set on flat material?

depends on the DTF and who prints it, DTF normally is pretty flexible and stretchable so it should be a problem, me personally its just a look thing, 6 panel are more for patches imo

I watched an older video and tried to set up an account with Supreme Screen Supply but when I tried to upload a tax ID Form it errored out and said I needed to add a form. I was not able to do anything further and had to cancel it.

Does DTF fade in the sun? Can it be sprayed with a UV spray?

I think any print left in the sun can fade, as far as that spray i have no clue as i have never had a reason to try that

My hat press doesn't heat on the lower platen. I have pressed tons of caps with screenprint. All the prework i try, the DTF material creases while pressing. Any ideas? I've watched so many videos but I must have a brain freeze on DTF. I love it for shirts but can't get it to work on caps.

its the shape of the platen and hat combo that's causing that ..one of the main reason I bought this machine, was to eliminate those issues hats are money and ruining them can get pricey quick :)

DTF is perfect for hat's because you don't wash hats so it basically stays there forever.

Your using the wrong platen for the hat shape your trying to press !

this platen is perfect for this hat shape and just about any other trucker hats at that, its this particular manufacturer and how they sew the seam in the front panel that causes the gap. I'm sure with other presses that have to have multiple platens they have one in your case that works for this style hat
