How to Fix VIZIO LED TV Half Screen Darker || VIZIO LED TV One Side Black than Other Side- Easy Fix

My VIZIO LED top half of my screen has begun to darken. I have uploaded/updated software and did a complete reset... but still the upper half of the screen has this darkened area completely across the top and approximately 1/3 to 1/2 of the screen.... Please help??

Vizios seem to not last long and have lots of issues. Best to buy another brand! I have a 46" Samsung I bought in 2008 and it still looks perfect. Never had any screen issues. Looks as good today as the day I bought it!

Well, to start I already replaced the led backlights. They all are working now. This was done on a Vizio E65-E3 smart tv. I carefully handled the lcd screen when removing and re-installing. Now, the left side has a good bright picture, the right looks like there is signal issues and looks darker. There are a few lines also. Eventually after the tv is on for a couple of minutes, the right side start to respond slowly, color gets crappy then goes to a black screen. Blinks white then back to black. Did I mess something up?

I will watch vizio m55-c2 and after a while screen will darken on right side. If I turn off and turn back on, the screen will revert back to its original brightness. After awhile it will happen again. Sometimes it will last a very long time. Do I have a loose connection, heat buildup problem or something else. I have purchased another tv, but would love to try and fix the old one if not too complicated. Any help you could give would be much appreciated.

My vizio tv has a section in the lower right corner that flashes bright every 2 seconds. You can still see the picture clearly, but the flashing looks like lightening going off in the distance. Any thoughts?

I have a Vizio vizio v555 g1 ltcdyilw. The top part of the screen has become very dark. I have watched videos of people replacing the light strips to fix this problem but I can’t seem to find these for my particular model. Is there something else I need to look for or replace?

So 1 of our vizios is dark on the left side. However if you press mebue or use subtitles it will brighten back up. Anything white in color will make it normal then it just goes right back to so dark you can't see.

I pulled a 48" Vizio out of an old chicken coop (not sure why it was there). Once turned on, the left side was clear and perfect with a sharp picture while the right side was dark, but not completely dark. After about 5 minutes, the right side turned clear and gave the same high-quality picture as the left side. However, now having used this tv for 6 months, the same thing happens but now the right side stays dark for nearly 45 minutes before it clears up and gives a beautiful, stunning picture. What could be happening with this Vizio tv?

Goto menu settings name goto reset tv and voila or hold power button on tv for ten seconds while out of plug plug back in and power tv on

Replaced main board on Vizio M80-c3 due to no video or audio. Now it works but right 1/3 of tv is dim. Anything I can do or check? Thanks.

Please check all cables connection on main board. Specialy lvds cable, inverter cable and etc. hopefully this will help you to solve the problem. Please like, subscribe and share this video with your friends.

Unplug tv power cable , and plug in back after 5 minutes later. Now recheck the issues. Any difficulties please let me know. Please like subscribe and share this helpful video with your friends and social media to help others.

@@FIXNETFLIX hi, I switched off and unplugged the TV for the whole night but I am still getting the same issue I even did some hard reset several times but no Changes, I wish I could share a picture of what I mean

Did you fix your 2 screen issue? I was going to do a factory reset on my Vizio but after reading your comment, I won't reset after all. I don't want 2 screens. But I do think you can go to your Systems Settings and uncheck "Two Screens."
