In Today's Video, We have a Whirlpool Cabrio Washer, Model WTW8600YW1, Which Would Stop in the Middle of the Cycle and Was Not Draining. It was Also Flashing a F32 Error Code. F32 Error is the Same as the LD Error, Which Means Long Drain, The washer is Taking too Long to Drain the Water Out. Thank you so much for this video, you are such great person. I called the Lake Appliance & Repair Clearlake California and when he came and check the code and told me your washer computer board is bad and pump is not working and so many different code he told me and trying to selling me his own machine and I told him if I have to buy new one I can buy from Costco and I pay him $85 for his visit. Then i search on KZfaq how to find the code. Then I watch your video step by step and order the pump on Amazon for $40 only and install by self and my washing machine working good. This was excellent! The pump stopped working. As I removed it, the wires going to the plug that attaches to the pump just broke free. Repaired that. Back in business. Thank you so much!

Thank you for the video, and thank you Michael for this tip. I'm definitely going to inspect those connections and wires closely once I can talk someone into coming over and helping me move/lift it, in order to get to the pump underneath. I actually installed this drain pump on the washer myself. The washer itself, I had bought for my mother several years back, but it's drain pump failed and was never repaired. Then I found myself in a desperate situation and needing a working washing machine as a single mom. I bought a used Maytag Bravos from a friend, but it continously threw the OL unbalanced load code even though the springs were replaced and good. I then realized the 2 models are almost exact replicas of each other and use most or all of the same parts. So I decided I would pull the drain pump off the maytag washer w/ OL code and install the pump on the Cabrio washer that needed one. So it makes me wonder if I didn't attach the connectors in very tight during the repair possibly bc I was tired and fed up with having to become a repair tech overnight lol. It worked fine until now, so it was running everyday for at least 6 or more months until now, when it pulled codes F32 and F72. If there is any advice either of you guys can think of that might make this troubleshooting effort easier or quicker, please share! I would be so grateful for any assistance, bc as a very petite/thin and single mother, it's somewhat difficult to complete these type of repairs by myself.

Thank you for this video, it worked for me, I found a piece of metal that looked like a penny (was probably part of a button), put the pump back on and was able to do a wash again. Again, thank you!

I have a Maytag Bravos XL. It has similarities between the two.. Cabrio. I have the F32 and C8 just rocks back and forth. There's also the electrical humming. Buzzzzzzzzz. Hahaha. I ordered the part. $85. I was sceptical any buying it, but your have given me a lil faith. I'm going to change it today. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks so much!

I own my own laundry machine business and only work on and sell cabrios and bravos machines. Your video was very good. Kudos from a tech. I still felt travel sick though :)

That is great, but sometimes that is not the problem. I bought two at different times, they work only for few weeks and have same problem. I found out that, the wires on the drain connects one was short and as soon as that was fix it star working again. thanks

I have found also in using a shop-vac with the hose attached to the EXHAUST side NOT THE VACUUM side. I will try to blow pressure back through the pump to dislodge anything that might be blocking the pump inlet. Then will wet vac the water out of the tub.

Excellent video! I diagnosed it old school, I knew it wasn't draining so I put power to the pump and nothing. I know, a tad dangerous since it's 120V. But I was wondering if the codes delete themselves or do you do it manually. I'm more used to OBD and OBD2 on cars. I wish they'd bring back the direct drive coupler system, quicker and easier to diagnose and fix. Plus cheaper. Your video is more comprehensive than most others.

The code goes away by yourself or you disconnect it for 30 minutes and I will erase it

Thank you for the video. It was very helpful but please retract the blade on your box cutter and release it before continuing to work. I was waiting for the blood to flow. It was distracting, lol.

i have tried 2 different pumps and it will pass a test mode cycle, but and soon as I go to wash something it works until the drain pump is needed and then I get the Ld message. no blockage in system nowhere-I'm baffled.

On my Cabrio Platinum WTW8540BWO, diagnostics is same button, hold 4 sec, off 4 sec, hold for 4 sec, off 4 sec, then hold until the 88 and lights all come on. JUST FYI, another way.

I got the same problem. I changed the pump and it work just fine. But after three or four cycles washing. The code F32 pop up again. Any thoughts of this?
