@@lucasctrading Delete the sample you don't like and insert another you do like. Or just use white noise and shape it in a way you like it.

@@lucasctrading You must be new to music production if you think this is really useful. Sure there might be times this can be used but in most cases you just replace the sample, and to get the groove there are also better ways if necessary. But you're probably just trolling anyway...

C'est intéressant aussi de jouer avec le temps de Release du vocoder. Parce que sinon tu peux avoir un sacré decay d'un coup dans le sample et c'est pas forcément ce que tu veux. Et le Formant aussi pour pitcher le tout à l'oreille.

Why are you putting the gain up 10db? Not a fair comparison at all.

I’m not in the mixing process my friend, just creating, couldn’t care less about the volume for now. If it sounds too loud in the mix I will lower it down eventually.

The peak went from -8 to -4, a 4 dB difference. Is it me or these videos never gain stage? I'm an intermediate producer so I could be wrong...

It doesn’t matter where the peak is at mate, we are still sound designing are tracks, we are not at the mixing stage yet. Many producers do the mistake trying to mix their songs before finishing it. This is a sound design technique not a mixing one 👍

By using vocoder changed the whole sample. You can use the thick kind of hi hat like many producers by just make it louder with saturation for example not with noise. @@lucasctrading

This is very basic man. You could just drop fab filters saturn for example. Additionally when you put vocoder you change the whole sample into that noisy hi hat. Someone would like to keep that thick hi hat but louder.

The idea for this one was only to use Ableton Stock + there is 1000 ways to make it better because music is all subjective, this is just one way but thanks for your comment 🙏
